This year’s Art for Advent examines the work of the Italian Renaissance artist Raphael. One of the most celebrated figures in the history of Christianity and the visual arts, Raphael developed a unique method of graceful harmony that was exceptionally suited for devotional images that inspire the viewer’s spiritual refreshment.
