Follow me along the edge of a dense forest as we go wild bug catching, uncovering some of the most fascinating insects living quietly in nature 🌿🕷️
With every step, you’ll hear the soft crunch of dry leaves underfoot, the gentle rustle of hands brushing through bushes, and distant forest birds singing overhead.

This adventure begins with an incredible discovery — thousands of harvestmen spiders clustered together along the forest edge. As I carefully catch hundreds of them, you can hear the subtle sounds of movement, leaves shifting, and the calm rhythm of nature surrounding us.

Soon after, I spot an impressive giant katydid hidden deep inside a bush. After gently catching it, I pick a juicy wild forest fruit and offer it food right on the palm of my hand. The moment comes alive with crisp, satisfying biting sounds as the katydid feeds — a relaxing, up-close ASMR moment that connects sound, nature, and wildlife discovery.

During the journey, we encounter many different kinds of grasshoppers — from the smallest, most agile ones, including tiny blue grasshoppers and small green grasshoppers, to powerful giant grasshoppers perfectly camouflaged among tall plants. You’ll hear the soft rustling of leaves, the subtle movements of insects, and slow, steady footsteps across the forest floor.

You’ll also see several remarkable praying mantises, including a green mantis, the European mantis (Mantis religiosa), and a rare spiny flower mantis patiently waiting for prey. Along the way, we discover caterpillars, weevil beetles, and striking Joro spiders, gently placing them into a clear container where you can hear the soft click of the lid opening and closing as we observe them up close.

Every moment of this video captures not only the excitement of wild bug catching, but also the peaceful natural sounds of the forest — rustling leaves, quiet insect movement, and distant birdsong.
