Practicing watercolour painting daily is the fastest way to improve your art. In this tutorial, I show you how I paint a quick watercolour bird for a daily art challenge such as Inktober / Birdtober. Follow along as I paint an Arctic Tern using a loose, wet-on-wet watercolour technique.
The materials I use in this demo are as follows:
Paper: Fabriano Artistico Rough, 10" x 11
Paints: Assorted artist grade watercolours from White Nights, Mijello, Sennelier etc
Brushes: round 12, 9, 3, 1. dagger 1/4"
