Hi there guys.
Now, I just want to give you a quick heads up
on how to set up these currency specific templates
in Metastock.
So you've got all the charts in sort of one area.
Now, if you've been using Metastock,
you'll know that the, see up here,
you've got the bookmark bar, right?
There's only so many things, pages that you can get on there
and then it goes to an arrow with a side down thing, right?
So it's a premium to have access to all the assets.
Now I like to sort of group,
if I didn't actually group like all these Euro templates
in under this sort of setup,
then it would take up most of the bookmark page, right?
So each of these, I can just simply,
if I'm looking for a Euro cross, okay,
I can easily just click on that
and I've got a page for each one, right?
So Euro cross hourly, daily.
If I just want to look at Euro,
now these templates are Euro hourly, Euro daily,
then I've got a risk returns at the bottom there
and volatility index, right?
So, or implied volatility, I should say.
The, okay, so you can easily see, right?
I have a look at these, I can draw trend lines,
I can see where the bull bear pivot line is,
I can see if it's going up or down
against various instruments.
So it's a nice, easy way to get a cross check
of any pair for that matter, right?
So if I was looking at say Euro Aussie, for example, right?
You can just come into the template.
Having these templates set up
just makes it so super easy to do your analysis, right?
And that's what you want, everything to be super easy.
Now, how do we set this up, right?
So if I've got, I'm on Euro Aussie, right?
And it's here.
Now, when you set up a page, if you come to,
let me just get the pen, this area here, right?
If you want to bookmark a page,
you can come into here and just go bookmark bar, right?
And that will add it to the bookmark.
But if we've got an instrument that has multiple layers,
say like Euro, well, then what I do is
I set up a folder, Euro.
Now, what you can do is, is you just come in,
if it's a new folder and you're doing this
for the first time, well, you can just type in
whatever it might be, okay?
And that's all you need to do.
So if I've got, so what I've got here is, right?
Euro cross hourly, Euro cross daily.
So let me just come down to Euro CAD.
Now, this has already been added to that list.
But if I come down, say I wanted to add it
to like a different page up here,
they can all be the sort of the main template,
Euro, Sterling, Aussie, Kiwi, Swiss, CAD, Yen.
I've even got risk reversals in there, right?
So you can attach layers to it, right?
So each time you set up a new page,
you just come in to the bookmark bar,
you get the name of the page,
and then you can just choose the currency you've got
and it will drop it in to just end up
forming these lists, right?
Now, if I just get rid of that pen color,
if you have a look at the top here,
I'll just run you through so you can just see
a screenshot here of each of the pages, right?
So you've got Euro with all the crosses.
Now, there's some, as you go through it,
there's a lot of crossovers.
So I have duplicated a few of these
and these are the ones with number one or two next to them.
So you've got Sterling
and I can see all the Sterling templates, right?
Aussie, Aussie hourly, Aussie daily.
I start with the full spectrum of the list
and then I go into the individual components
and the same for the Kiwi, Kiwi cross hourly, daily, Kiwi,
and you can see I've got duplications here.
Now, I could actually just go Kiwi CAD,
go to the CAD template, but you know what?
It's all a creature of habit.
I like having them all listed.
In Swiss's case, because the Swiss is a secondary currency
compared to the Euro, Sterling, et cetera,
it's always the second quote of a cross.
So it's in the others and then you've got the CAD,
I've got the Kiwi CAD ones, and then dollar, yen,
I've got all the yen crosses, right?
So that's how to set up the template.
Just hit the bookmark, get the name, you've got the folder.
If you haven't got a folder already made,
then make sure you do go into new folder, set it up.
That'll give you the name at the top
and then you can just drop the templates in behind it
as you build them, right?
And then all you have to do is click the dropdown,
go to the chart you're looking for
and that's all we need to do, right?
So nice, easy way to set up your templates.
You seriously could do this with the majors.
You can actually use those as a template.
Just keep an eye on that Aussie.
It is starting to sort of keep moving topside.
We'll see how that goes.
But anyway, that's how you set up
the currency sort of template bookmarks, right?
In MetaStock.
