My name is Sienna Ogadong, I play Regan Wills, and we're making the movie Alex and Me. The movie is about a young girl, and she really wants to be a professional soccer player. Her idol is Alex Morgan, and she ends up bumping her head. Oh! And Alex comes to life in her mind. Regan, you're Alex Morgan. My favorite scene is when I first come to life from the poster. There were so many different shots and so many different, like, perspectives, like Mom's POV. Honey, what is wrong? What happened? I fell and I hit my head and... This won't end well. What won't end well? Huh? No, no, not you, Mom. Not me what? I'll come back another time. No, don't go! I'm not going anywhere, honey. Mom, I'm not talking to you. Who are you talking to? Alex Morgan. Alex Morgan? You didn't just hear her when she talked? Who? I'm talking to the Alex Morgan that's standing right there. Right where? There! Regan really wants to win Diamond Cup, which is the best girls' soccer teams in the state. And the whole movie is about Alex just teaching her and helping her... Okay, nice. ...get to where she wants to be. Good one. The relationship between the two is very sisterly. Sienna's so fun to work with. She's honestly so energetic. Knowing Alex was watching me play soccer, it made me question everything I knew about it, and every single thing I did, I was like, wait, is that the correct form? Toe down, strike through the ball with your laces. Head down, eyes following the ball. Whoa! She's eager to learn too, which I love, because I'm able to teach her some things on the field, soccer-related stuff, and she's able to teach me how to act. She makes it so easy. I love learning much more than I did about Alex because she's just this genuine, down-to-earth person that everyone needs to meet. I've looked up to her before, but even more so now. I'll be with you the whole way. Regan Wills is a striker, and in real life, I play midfielder and defense. I saw the script, and it said that she's left foot. I've never, ever shot with my left foot. Come on, I want to see a left. I will, later. If you don't practice it here, later will never come when it counts. So that was a bit of a learning curve. And Alex, when I'm on set, you know, like, I'll be nervous with scenes. She helps me right before we do it. You know, she'll just practice with me. It's been really fun. Make sure you're always between the defender and the ball. Soccer reminds me that I'm still a kid, and I love acting. I realized, wait, I'm going to be doing soccer and acting at the same time. I was so excited to do that. My most embarrassing moment on set has been I was just practicing for the shot, and I kicked the ball, and I knocked somebody in the head, and everyone was like, Sienna, I was like, I am so sorry. Oh, that was really embarrassing. This movie could be something that young girls really love to watch and gain inspiration from. Sports gives me confidence. When I'm out on the field, I don't really think about anything other than the game. I don't think there is enough girls' sports films.
