Summer of the Tigers (Tiger & Thresher Sharks of Malapascua) | Diving in the Philippines

Based on what the locals have told me, the tiger shark sightings in Monad started as early as 2020 during the pandemic but there were very few to no photos or videos showing up on the internet then.. These tiger encounters were said to be quick & short flybys.. probably less than a minute long. As pandemic fears subsided, the Philippines opened up its borders and dive tourism started to pick up again.
