Yep, I'm a Leo.
And I'm a Leo rising, so here we go.
When someone doesn't like me, I think about them every day.
Wait, are you doing your best?
Because I'm doing my best.
Welcome to our channel,
where we bring you the latest on your
favorite celebrities, films,
and TV shows, and we're not
afraid to get a little sassy while doing it.
In this video, we take a look
back at Jennifer Lawrence and Andrew Barth Feldman's
adorable moments, while on
the press tour for No Hard Feelings.
I'm sure anyone sitting next to
Jennifer Lawrence will enjoy it as much as
Andrew. Let's watch the clip.
Is there one, do you both have
a favorite swear word? Cock.
Yeah, I think my answer now
is horse ******.
I don't know,
I don't even know if I've ever heard anybody say it.
He's been consistent with that. I've never heard him say it.
The film No Hard
Feelings is helmed by Gene Stupnitsky,
a close friend of Jennifer Lawrence.
In May, the duo disclosed
that the movie takes inspiration from an
actual Craigslist advertisement.
Upon reading the ad,
Gene was captivated by its uniqueness.
He couldn't help but wonder about
the woman who would respond to such an ad.
It instantly struck him that
this would be a perfect role for his friend Jennifer
Lawrence. I don't know why
I would say it.
Again, the context. It's such a violent thing
to say, but it
paints a
picture. I just got so used to
stub your toe, ****, or you're
mad at somebody, ****, or somebody's good, ****,
that cock is just
going, cock!
How did you go, this being one of
your first major feature films?
Did you ever think that the role,
or you'd be in a role where Jennifer Lawrence
was trying to sleep with you for 100 minutes?
I was dream journaling it all
the time. No, of course,
this is crazy.
It sounds so
great. I don't think we could adopt that one.
Bollocks!
It wouldn't satisfy me.
It doesn't sound bad. It sounds almost
bollocks.
Andrew Barth Feldman is a successful Broadway
star who made his debut at age 16
in the lead role of Dear Evan Hansen.
In 2018, he won
a Jimmy Award for his performance of
I Love Betsy from Honeymoon in Vegas.
The Jimmy Awards celebrate high school
students' musical theater talents in the U.S.
Andrew has also appeared
as Linguini in a TikTok-inspired
concert presentation of Ratatouille
the Musical and in High School Musical
the Musical the Series.
Try cock.
Cock. Oh, that's great.
What did that feel like?
That's okay.
And then Jen was the one
who called me to give me the news.
I believe you said, Andrew, I'm so
sorry, you're not going to be able to go back to Harvard
this semester. Yes.
Because he
put going to Harvard on hold to shoot
this movie. How Percy is that, huh?
And it was also scenes from the beginning, middle
and end of the movie. So you kind of, in that chemistry
read, we saw our entire
relationship play out. It began with you looking
me in the eyes and saying, let's ****.
And it ended with me looking you in the eyes and saying, let's ****.
Oh, it did? In that chemistry read, yeah.
Wow. Nothing gets by this kid.
I would lie about
my age and I would lie about where I live
and I also lied about having an
education. Wow. Yeah.
Or I should say illegally. How much time do
we have? There's more life.
I said that I played basketball to get a job.
Andrew told ABC Audio that working
with Jennifer Lawrence was just as
amazing as you would think it would be.
She's just brilliant.
She's like a one-of-a-kind comedian
and always has been. And yet
we've never seen her in a comedy like this.
Andrew said,
there's nothing better for her to do and there's
no one better to do it. And there was nothing
that was off limits between the two of us.
We had the most incredible time.
I don't think I've ever relied
to get a job. I don't think I ever have.
I think, I say
I'm 5'7 and a half, but I'm probably
just 5'7. No, I think
you're 5'8. Wow! She thinks I'm 5'8.
I only had one
and it didn't get used anywhere
and I still thought it was funny. Do you want
to say what it is? I do. Because I know what it is. Yeah, you should.
I said I had sex one
time because I thought my house was hot.
It's funny, right? He laughed.
Gene just didn't use it because
he doesn't like me.
Jennifer, do you have some things in
common with Maddie in real life? Our faces
are exactly the same.
I think, immediately
I could sense how
grounded and generous you were
and that in that
scene, in that moment. I'm generous. I've never given you anything.
But I don't
mean physical gifts.
But being in the room with you.
It's so real. I send him scary TikToks
too. I also send him videos that go
45 minutes long.
It's like part 2, part 3.
No, it's a man. I'm like
oh no! Not the porn! Get out of there!
Just because of
how real I think our
friendship is. It's so lovely
to see you both looking adoringly at each other.
Is that the same case for you as well, Jen?
Or are you like, oh Andrew, this is awkward.
We're actually not very good friends.
I'm a little uncomfortable.
Andrew Barth Feldman's
audition for No Hard Feelings went smoothly,
especially when he met
Jennifer Lawrence. They instantly
clicked and had a good rapport, making
Andrew feel comfortable.
On set, they quickly became close
friends, much to the director's initial
dismay. Director Gene Stavnitzky
wanted to maintain a sense of awkward
tension between them. However, Andrew
and Jennifer couldn't help but share
personal stories and try not to laugh
during takes. Interestingly,
Andrew even made Jennifer cry during one scene.
20-year-olds, they are
really annoying. Yeah,
well, and I'm at like being in a two-shot
with this cherubic face.
While I'm like
It's hot. It's hot.
I had to be next to Jennifer.
How did you?
Shut up. I had to be next to you.
Well, I've done press tours before where I didn't
think people should go see the movie and I would
tell them that they should. That is not
the case here. No, oh my god.
Staining your credibility. Yeah, I think
I'm actually kind of falling apart.
I made Jen think that
I'm a nice, alive
face. Yeah, I can see right through him.
Which comedy impacted your childhood?
I would say, I mean, Dumb and Dumber,
but also Uncle Buck, because
Uncle Buck, I know that you haven't. I know, I know.
In an interview with Sky News,
Jennifer Lawrence expressed her belief
that comedy is essential in the world
right now. She even suggested
that if some people find certain
content offensive, it could actually
be a positive thing. I think it's time
for just a good old-fashioned laugh,
she said. And it really is hard
to make a comedy where you're not offending people.
Everybody, in some sense, will be offended
by this film. You're welcome.
It was just a, I was going to say DVD that we had
at our house, but it was a VHS tape.
So I just like watched it a lot.
Anchorman was mine, for sure.
You're so young.
When I drank that whole
glass of wine,
I had to do that like three times.
I was like, let's go again, let's go again.
And I had like, you know, the craziest poop
of my life that day.
Are you front, middle, back?
Oh yeah, I always take the front row, because I'm a psycho.
Do you actually? No.
Middle. Middle.
What was your favorite part of
shooting this film? Oh man,
I mean the... I loved him naked
on the roof of my car.
Yeah, that was great.
I always wear a modesty garment,
but I was standing outside the car and you were looking at me
and we were having conversations and you go, oh ----, I looked right at it.
During an interview,
Jennifer Lawrence and Andrew Barth Feldman
discussed their experience with a
nude scene in the movie,
No Hard Feelings. Both actors
admitted feeling uneasy about undressing
on camera, but reassured that the set
provided a safe and encouraging environment.
In a particular scene where
their characters skinny dip at night and have
their clothes stolen, Andrew finds himself
clinging to a car hood completely
naked. Andrew describes the mindset
required for this film as
simply doing it and moving forward.
Jennifer playfully remarks that they were
somewhat coerced into the situation.
Well, you try
to keep your eyes up, but sometimes
if you're not paying attention, your eyes
just go to the, you know...
The elephant in the room.
The elephant, if you will.
Who was the better counselor between the two of you?
Who would you guess? It had to be you.
I feel like it was you. It was me.
I was a really, really good counselor
and I always had to put the boys'
kids' sunblock on
for them because the boys felt
uncomfortable putting sunblock on a bunch of kids.
Andrew Barth Feldman,
a 21-year-old, decided to ditch
Harvard and join the cast of a risqué
comedy movie. Jennifer Lawrence,
speaking at the film's premiere in New York City,
praised Andrew's suitability
for the role. The team knew right away
that he was the perfect fit for the character
Percy after his audition.
However, there was a slight hitch.
He was originally supposed to be studying
at Harvard. Andrew managed to finish
the Fall 2021 semester
before taking a break without having chosen a
major yet. So I had to put
sunblock on my group and five
other, 50 kids. So I learned
how to do it extremely fast. You should see me.
I'm like...
MVP. I give you credit. Thank you.
What's his name? Gerard
Depardieu. Don't throw it to me.
You said mine. You talk about French actors all the time.
You said all of mine. Oh, I did?
Yeah, every single one. We've never heard of a French
actor ever in our lives.
I'm so sorry.
Why it's funny? Because it's me.
He's like annoying, but I'm like,
let's just talk. Yeah.
I'm
waking up and I can't let go.
I'm in my head, but I can't
say no. Hate that I do
this all the time.
Don't
wanna focus another...
