We start the morning watching a beautiful sunrise before tending the garden—building a trellis, checking on the plants, and preparing food for later.

It’s avocado season, and Lola kindly shared some from her tree. In return, we shared seedlings for her kitchen garden. As we worked together, she told us stories of growing up, how simple life once was, and how food and living have changed over time. Every day, we learn so much from her, and we’re truly grateful for her presence.

This video is a reminder to slow down, appreciate thoughtful gifts, meaningful conversations, and the beauty of everyday life.
