Horseback Riding, Jeep Camping & Fly Fishing with Our Cousins // EFRT EP 22

Welcome to another episode of the epic family road trip. Do you notice we didn't get a video last week because we've been incredibly busy but we're catching up this week and combining the two weeks together to give you an awesome epic family road trip video. We started in Ohio and then went up to Ontario where we still are now. In Ontario we went up to the island which you've seen before up north and we spent a beautiful weekend enjoying the colours and the beautiful fall weather. This morning we left our friend's house in Ohio, our friends, our family Keith and Caitlin and that's Urbano, Ohio really kind of central and drove all the way through Ohio then through Michigan, crossed into Canada and Detroit and then drove all the way across southern Ontario and we're almost in 29 minutes we'll be in Barrie, that's a long haul but we wanted to cover some ground so looking forward to getting my jacket that I left there about a month ago hopefully it's still there and having some wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. Buffalo Wild Wings and I finally got my jacket back my good old Patagonia. I missed it we left it here last time we ate here which was just before we headed to Quebec City and Newfoundland and all that so we made a big road trip since then all the way down to Florida and then back up here so I'm just happy to have it because it's fall time and it's the perfect time for a nice cozy jacket. Thanks for hanging on to it Buffalo Wild Wings in Barrie. Now we're going to get some hot hot smoking hot wild wings. Morning it's raining just went and got a couple of Timmy's extra tall tubs of coffee some donuts for the kids we got a huddle coming up at 7 30. It is Thanksgiving Monday so happy Thanksgiving all the all every Canadian out there and all my American family and friends we get to celebrate Thanksgiving twice. We're getting up ready ready to hit the road this rain was unexpected it's actually the remnants of Hurricane Nate which whistled through hit somewhere in Louisiana and just kind of raced up the mainland U.S. and we're just catching the tail end of it with nothing but a big old rain cloud no wind to speak of but here we are we spent the night in the Ontour which is one of the best places man they're all across Ontario we love it and now we've got a big day ahead of us we'll see you soon. We had our coffee we had our breakfast we had our morning huddle and now we are everybody's working on their different tasks and we're heading up to the lake for Thanksgiving. We didn't prepare for Thanksgiving shopping buying the turkey and all that stuff and all the stores are closed today but thankfully Sobeys up in Parry Sound was open and we were able to get everything we need so Thanksgiving is saved. Happy Thanksgiving y'all. Good morning we are packing up everything and putting it all away just in case we don't come back up getting the canoe away from the water we might come back up if the weather's nice but if not at least we know everything's winterized and put away. Hey Pete. We spent some time shutting down the island and prepping it for for the winter months ahead and then after that we came here to beautiful Hockley Valley where we're currently stationed with our motorhome and jeep and we are catching up on all kinds of things like doctor's appointments dentist appointments um spending a lot of time doing homeschool everything from a couple of passports that need to be renewed um getting our driver's licenses uh Caroline's working on that we spent an incredible weekend with our uncle Tim and Aunt Emma and their whole family and we're going to show you some of the footage from that riding horses fishing mountain biking all kinds of activities we've just really been having a busy but incredible couple of weeks so I hope you enjoy this week's video coming right up there's Caroline yeah now you can cover it all up okay let's cover it One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. What do you got? I got the flower. Is it cozy? Today we did a lot of riding and we did a really cool photo shoot. It's out of focus. Oh dear. So today we did some photo shoots with the horses and the family because the fall colors are really pretty today. And it was beautiful weather. Yeah. Perfect weather. And then April did some awesome riding and we got some footage of that and we're going to make a clip of that. Yeah. A really cool video. And then tonight we're going to be camping in the Jeep and we're going to stay up in the rooftop tent. Yeah. And do the campfire and we had dinner as a family. Yeah. So it was fun. It was awesome. Yeah. We're in the tent and it's very cold. Storm. They don't sing. Are you playing a game? Uh huh. Is it fun? That was a good slide. I forgot the lyrics. Baffled king composing hallelujah. Hallelujah. Yeah. That was decent. As you may have noticed we have uploaded three gear review videos on our YouTube channel. We're going to continue posting a gear review show weekly. Every piece of gear that we review we've used during our two year overland road trip. We're going to have hiking gear, biking gear, overlanding gear, road trip gear.
