Obstructing ICE Is Rebelling Against Congress Former Immigration Judge

Andrew Arthur, Fellow in Law and Policy at the Center for Immigration Studies and former immigration judge, joined NTD to discuss the Insurrection Act. Arthur said that presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and Reagan have all invoked the Insurrection Act, and it has been used approximately 30 times in U.S. history. He adds that last January, Congress passed the Laken Riley Act, which declares that states should hand over illegal immigrant criminals to law enforcement.
