Welcome back dear viewers to the Món Chay Mỗi Ngày channel
Today I received a sweet request from a very lovely lady
She said she had a plant-based egg dish at a restaurant
that was incredibly delicious—please help share the recipe
Today I’m sharing with you and to all the relatives and friends watching
this video the method for making vegan fried eggs with lốt leaves
This dish is simple and easy to prepare and I don't use any
flour in the process yet it has
excellent stickiness like this
The vegan egg part is softly chewy slightly rich and gently elastic
It has a slightly salty taste with the distinctive aroma of lemongrass leaves
I'll have white rice a bit of pickled vegetables a
splash of soy sauce and a little spicy chili — that's absolutely perfect
Making this dish is incredibly easy—anyone can succeed on
their first try Now let’s all
head to the kitchen together
First I'll take everyone to pick a little bit of perilla leaves so we can make some delicious fried vegetarian eggs
That's my homegrown perilla you know
It's because we don't have fertilizer or pesticides and lately it's been so sunny with no rain
That's why betel leaves aren't always ideal but if we grow just one plant like
this we can eat them with greater peace of mind free from fertilizers and pesticides
Just a few of these and you've got a nice little bunch like this already
Now I'll go wash this perilla leaf again with water
So to make today's vegetarian fried egg dish I
have the betel leaves which I've washed clean
When I finish picking I brought it back and it weighed 20 grams everyone
Next is that 200 grams of fresh tofu
Everyone can use either that tofu or that combined tofu okay
And additionally there's a 220-gram piece of fresh tofu
If the whole family can't get silken tofu we'll just substitute it with regular white tofu
I'll cut this soft tofu into pieces
then transfer them onto a plate
Now wash yourself thoroughly with water to make sure you're clean everyone
This leaf I'll roll it like this so it's easier to cut
Then I'll slice it into thin strips
Now I'll put all that tofu into the machine
Just add the tofu in here
I'll add here 2 teaspoons of vegetarian fish sauce
I'll add here 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
Half a teaspoon of freshly ground pepper and half a teaspoon of sugar
One teaspoon of vegetarian seasoning powder
Now I'll put the lid back on this blender
then I'll blend this mixture until it's smooth
There's no need to blend it too finely
—just blend it until it's nicely smooth
Once we have the finished product like this
then I'll mix in the perilla leaves right here everyone
If no one in the family can eat perilla leaves then I can just
fry it even if the vegetarian egg doesn't turn out perfectly
Or I could also substitute with Vietnamese coriander instead
Or perhaps cinnamon herb everyone
It smells really delicious when I fry it
Now I'm heating up the pan
Then I'll add a little cooking oil here
I'll add all the vegan egg mixture
here then spread it out evenly
That's how thick the vegan egg slice will be once it's fully ready everyone
And if the whole family wants
the vegetarian egg slice to be
thinner just divide it into two parts then spread it evenly
So I'll start by turning the stove on first
Then I'll close the lid
Initially I'll turn the stove to high heat with a strong flame
Whenever the pot starts boiling like
this I reduce the
heat to a gentle simmer
For this vegan egg
substitute it cooks slowly and
evenly and it actually cooks from the bottom up
When you all see this
How our tofu and the bean curd inside look like this
And the layer underneath should be a light golden hue like that—perfect
I'll turn off the stove
Then we'll transfer it to a plate
And there you have it—your very own simple and delicious vegan fried egg with betel leaves ready to enjoy
It's really easy everyone
The tofu is soft and slightly chewy with a light delicate richness
The aroma of perilla leaves slightly salty and fragra
I'll have it with some white rice a little pickled
mustard greens and another bowl of soy sauce—so delicious trust me
I hope everyone loves today's lucky draw result
