FINAL stretch of our 5,000 mile road trip | Will the RV make it?!

We are on the final stretch of our 5,000 mile road trip. So this is the final leg of our trip and we are just so ready to get there. According to the GPS we have 210 miles to go, 3 hours 12 minutes. Easy peasy. Easy peasy. Ready to go for a walk bud? Come on let's go. Well apparently we spoke too soon. We noticed an issue that could potentially derail the rest of this trip and I don't know we're just hoping at this point we can still make it there. Good morning. We are on the final stretch of our 5,000 mile road trip making the trek from northern Michigan where we sold our last RV lot that we had going down the east coast all the way to Florida and then we started our trek west to southern California which is where we're heading today to get to our other RV lot. We've been traveling for two months straight since we left Michigan and today we have about 300 miles left to go until we get to our other RV lot in southern California. So we're a little bit tired but we are really excited to be getting here. We've been driving for about four days straight now from Texas so this is the final leg of our trip and we are just so ready to get there. So hopefully smooth sailing all around. We'll have all good travels with our new RV. Our new RV has been doing great on this whole trip. We really haven't had hardly any issues with her at all so that's been amazing but we're pretty much packed up and ready to go. All we have to do is Chris is going to do the hookups really quick. We'll put the slides in and then we'll get rolling. We had a nice pull through spot here so the Lincoln is already hooked up pretty much ready to go. We got up before the sunrise this morning. Woke up at five to get going so it's about 6 30 right now. We're hoping to be on the road by seven and we've got about a four and a half hour to five hour drive to get to California. So it shouldn't be too long of a day but we're definitely anxious to get back so that's why we got up early. I forgot how pretty the sunrise and sunset is here in the desert. I miss the desert. I know. We're in Mesa Arizona right now. We stayed for the night to see Chris's parents yesterday. They live here during the winter so we got to see them. The last people we were visiting on this trip. Yeah I was gonna say it was so nice this morning to wake up. It was nice and cold outside. The sun was up just barely up. It was really nice. I know it's still a little bit chilly. I might actually have to put my sweatshirt on. That is one of the things I love the most about desert winters is the cool mornings and evenings and the warm days. You can lay out by the pool but have a sweater on at night. Definitely nice. Or in Chris's case flannel. I didn't even wear flannel this morning. I just was cold. It felt really good. It's been so long. We've been moving so frequently on this trip like at least once a week we've been moving if not every four to five days and having a bunch of overnight stops along the way so it'll be nice to not have to set up again once we get there. We've got one last time to do this. Very true. Looking forward to being settled for a little bit. How many times do you think I've done this? In the last two months? Gosh I don't know at least 20. I wonder how many times we've done it in the last four years. A lot. Probably true. It's nice not being in the mud. The other day we did this and we were doing it in the mud. Yeah that was no fun. We got caught in this really nasty Texas rainstorm and mud everywhere. It was hailing on the drive. Luckily no damage. Not to our coach anyway. That's because we got the anti-hail windows. Oh did we? Hey do you know that the gray tank valve is open right now? No it's not. Good thing the tank was empty. That could have been ugly. I must not have shut it after I emptied it this morning. See four years of RVing and we still forget things. That's right. Good eyes baby. Nah wait I meant to do that. Oh okay sure I'm sure you did. There's a really good reason for it. If you give me a few minutes I'll think of it. Simple. Easy. Okay all we gotta do is the slides jacks and roll out. That's right. Let's do it. Okay well it looks like my order will be arriving tomorrow night right to our RV lot which is awesome so hardly any waiting. Well apparently we spoke too soon we're only a couple minutes into our drive everything seemed to be going smoothly and then we noticed an issue that could potentially derail the rest of this trip and I don't know we're just hoping at this point we can still make it there. So once we got on the highway here in Phoenix or in Mesa actually heading to Phoenix we just noticed that our check engine light came on. If you've seen some of our videos you'll know that this happened to us at the start of our journey when we left Michigan we had an engine light come on and it ended up being a pretty small issue it was just a sensor that had gone bad. The temperature sensor yeah. So we were able to get that replaced at a Freightliner dealership but we didn't have an engine light on yesterday we were sitting in the lot that we were parked in. I mean it's been driving fine for the last weeks whatever. But driving for the last 5,000 miles. So it's kind of crazy that now the last 300 miles we have to go we have a problem like this. Yeah hopefully it's nothing major the truck seems to be running fine temperatures are fine pressures are fine everything I can see is fine. I don't have the ability to actually read the light at the the engine light at the moment but I think we can call Freightliner and have them check it remotely and see if it's something major or something we can just push through. Yeah we're kind of hoping at this point that it's just another sensor or something gone bad that we could maybe just push through and keep going but the last time this happened Freightliner wasn't able to tell us that it was a sensor they were just able to tell us that it wasn't anything major and we could still drive to the next Freightliner that we found. Right which is probably all they'd be able to tell us today but if they only tell us today then we'll just we'll drive it to Indio and deal with it there. It seems fine it doesn't seem like there's an issue but. Yeah but we don't want to get stuck in the desert we kind of got to drive through the middle of nowhere going from Phoenix to Palm Springs so I don't want to risk that in the middle of the desert. True. Okay well I'm going to try to call them real quick and we'll see if we can get them to read it. Okay. This call is regarding a Freightliner. We are now connecting you to the next available agent. Currently on hold with Freightliner. Freightliner, this is J.R. Yeah hi my name is Hillary and I'm calling because we have a new RV that's an American coach on a Freightliner custom chassis and we're currently driving and we just had an engine light come on and wanted to see if you guys could read the code and tell us if it's something major or potentially minor we could keep driving to our destination until we can get it looked at. Why yeah well just come on it's just an outline of the engine code or the engine light. Yes correct. What that actually is is it's called a malfunction indicator lamp it's not necessarily a check engine lamp yet because there's already a code set. What that indicates is the ECM upon you start up or at some point after that is driving it's awesome that someone out of the Okay. Okay well that's good to know because we had this happen a couple thousand miles ago and while we were in Ohio actually and we ended up taking it and they told us we needed to take it in at some point for it even though it was just the outline and it was a bad sensor that had to be replaced so we had that done just like two months ago. Yeah so uh right that's that's probably another reason we were in the car wrecking we can take it into a dealer. Okay. You get that outline they can throw what's called a ghost code that really doesn't mean anything and it can really shoot you down the wrong path as far as diagnosis and whatnot. Okay. So if you get a check in a check in the light with a check in the center or an exclamation mark that's gonna give us a hard full code with some direction we can take at that point but right now we're just ready to be driving. Okay so we can just keep driving it and then if it doesn't turn off in the next couple drive cycles then we should maybe see about taking it if it goes to a check mark or an exclamation. Okay. Okay. Why you know it's funny why have we never heard that before and I was just gonna tell you earlier like why don't we have stages like we get a warning we get a must stop off the road right now you gotta pull over you got a thousand miles to get it fixed and we have that all the time and they never told us that. Well what's funny was that the last time this happened they didn't tell us about the check marker the exclamation they told us that that was the check engine light and there was a code but they couldn't tell what it was because it was a lot of codes. Yeah that's right we had like 50 codes or something. Yeah and so when we brought it to the dealership they had to clear all the codes but then they found that there was one thing wrong which was the temperature sensor needed to be replaced so that's odd. There's nothing more frustrating than getting information dripped to you like this would have been really helpful to know uh actually about 40,000 miles ago when we had the last coverage. Yeah true so uh Freightliner if you're listening that kind of information might be helpful for customers. Okay so the good news is the guy at Freightliner support just said that we can keep driving and it could potentially go away on its own in three to four drive cycles I'm assuming that means we turn it off and on three to five times. If it doesn't go away and if it comes up with an exclamation point or a check mark then that means we definitely need to take it in and should stop driving it so hopefully that won't happen while we're driving but for now it seems like it could be good news and it could just be something small that could either resolve on its own or is a small issue we'll fix down the line. Traffic is no fun in a big RV. I was just gonna say so you want a good view of what it's like this is it so we're driving our entire home through rush hour traffic as I slam on the brakes sorry no cursing yeah I mean that's that's the challenge here right so everybody here is just commuting and nobody wants to get in an accident but we're driving our house to that same thing so we're managing a 75 foot long trailer 56,000 75 foot long you know coaching trailer 56,000 pounds in the middle of traffic that has all of our belongings in it so we're probably a little bit more tense than the average driver yeah all these people aren't driving with their entire house with them not only that you know it's the width right so these lanes are 10 feet wide standard and the standard car is probably six and a half to seven feet wide we're eight and a half feet wide so we get much room right we get like a half inch or half inch we get like a half foot on either side to try and balance all the traffic everybody gets tense and they're weaving in and out i'm not blaming anybody but yeah and this is actually a good road yeah traffic we've been on far worse this isn't bad at all i can do this true according to the gps we have 210 miles to go three hours 12 minutes easy peasy easy peasy let's go a little faster and make it less than three hours and ten minutes i don't think we can do that do you want to stop for gas so we have a full tank when we get there no we're fine we don't need to double up over half the tank when we get there so it's going to sit for a while there's no reason to have a full tank of gas in it we'll tank a diesel while it sits for six months what about for like the water heater and stuff though we won't use it that much okay watery it doesn't take that much i want a bucky's gummy bear of course these are seriously the best i'd rather have a bucky's brisket sandwich but i'll take your buckies you're into the brisket taco these days those things are so good because there's nothing on them but the tortilla and the brisket oh they're perfect now they are your kind of taco perfectly simple i like their breakfast sandwiches they're good i just don't like biscuits fortunately we will not be passing a bucky's today and we'll be driving in the middle of nowhere axles ready to be back i think everybody's ready to be back for a little bit how long from the moment we pull into the driveway how long until you unwrap the corvette unwrap it or look at it i'm certain i will look at it within the first 12 minutes 12 but i was thinking the first like 90 seconds i'll have things to do so probably 12 minutes then what about unwrapping it later today you're not gonna wait till tomorrow probably not i don't imagine that i'll be able to i don't have a lot of ability to hold back so how long do you think axel jumps in the pool sometime today he will i bet the weather's so big it's supposed to be pretty hot there today in the 90s we got like one last week of really hot temperatures here he's just gonna get out of the coach and he's gonna go stretch out onto the hot pavement just like a lizard and he is not gonna allow us to take him anywhere like he is just gonna want to be settled and he is not gonna want to move he's gonna roll around in the grass yeah he does love the grass there grass is that super soft grass and he gets to see all of his best friends like kevin and tracy that's right we've been driving for almost three hours now it's about 10 o'clock in the morning and we're gonna stop at a rest area take a quick break from the drive and i'm also gonna make us some breakfast or lunch whatever you want to call it for this time of day but have a quick snack and a quick meal on the road at the rest area and then we'll get back on the road we'll have about an hour and 45 minutes to go after the rest area so all in all not too bad come on man you ready to go for a walk but come on let's go come on man there's no grass here for poor axel so he's got to make do with rocks and gravel and they got signs everywhere about venomous snakes you like the desert buddy i know you're in the desert when you got signs like this pretty barren out here it's pretty bare just sand and dirt you're ready bubs let's go make some lunch lincoln looks okay it does still in one piece good god the coach is so dirty from the other day when we got stuck in the mud ah it's filthy well we got lots of time to clean it come on axel we don't have too much longer today bud we're close go up up i actually think i might go ahead and change into shorts i was thinking exactly the same thing it's already warming by the time we get this set up it's gonna be hot okay i'm gonna change and then i'm gonna make you a really quick bite to eat sounds good i'm hungry all right we making breakfast making breakfast you're gonna give me eggs and bacon and hash browns and sausage and maybe some pancakes no you're getting waffles eggs and toast only cinnamon rolls we actually thought this was broken just a minute ago and wasn't working because i forgot that to run this induction cooktop because it runs off 240 the generator has to be on i could have sworn i've cooked on this without the generator in fairness i forgot as well no i thought you had two but i think i'm thinking of the microwave as we started talking through it i realized nothing you know like the dryer and the cooktop cooktop are both 240 and they don't work so yeah but i was thinking something else broke that would have been the third thing today and you know three things are going to break so we're waiting for something else shoot a drop but you can just tell we're kind of probably tired by this point like we forgot how the rv works tired and excited because someone tired and excited i know i'm going to try to make this a really quick breakfast it's not going to be my best no bacon but i can't believe we're not getting any pork sorry sorry there's no buckies no no tater tots no no beaver tots no brisket taco no pecans you're just gonna have to make do with my favorite heritage free range eggs these are the best eggs they are good i don't know why they're so good but they are always have bright orange yolks got the ac cranking to help cool it off in here now we're gonna sit and enjoy a quick meal together axel can you sit you sit come join me i will can't eat by myself okay we're ready for the final stretch the final tour an hour almost two hours left i think axel's prepped and in my front seat he's gonna be co-pilot the rest of drive are you gonna navigate buddy yeah he's gonna navigate we got a we got a process he and i seat belt safety first chris got fussed at earlier for not wearing a seat belt i got busted fussed at busted i didn't get fussed at getting ready to cross into california actually i think we just did technically over the river but there's an inspection station right up here colorado river i couldn't make these lanes any tighter could they they could they're gonna let us through today thank you i don't know what the point of those is if they don't actually make you stop and get inspected i don't know what they're looking for right like i don't know exactly what triggers them to say i gotta get this guy to stall man i guess if you had a sign on the front of your car that says fresh produce here they probably make you stop yeah welcome to california woohoo we made it to the state we're trying to get speed limit 55 when towing yeah so for those of you who don't know if you're driving an rv and you're towing i think it's the length that requires like even if you have a fifth wheel in a truck or a motorhome with a tow vehicle you have to go 55 on all highways because not yeah it's not the length it's just anything towing oh it's anything towing that's what it said okay which is honestly probably a smart rule but i'm not gonna lie when i say i hate it i know it is most laws actually make sense and help people it doesn't mean you uh like following them yeah true they're there for a reason but when i want to get home quickly it's not the reason i care to have today no no that said when dust storm when lights are flashing hopefully we don't have a dust storm today hope not it's pretty dusty out there but it doesn't seem that bad doesn't seem to well honestly i feel kind of silly about the whole check engine light thing but who would have known that the outline doesn't really mean anything big well apparently a lot of people knew but us well why didn't they tell us that the last time this happened because they told us we needed to take it to a freightliner dealer and then just today the guy said that unless it has a check mark or an exclamation point with it it's nothing to worry about i know and we've talked to a number of people about that no one has ever said that but now we have started it and stopped it up and driven it a bit three times no twice no because we started again when we first got going yeah but it didn't really get up to operating temperature okay fine so i'm assuming we've done it twice but i guess we won't really know because we're going to get there and park it and it won't really have a chance to see if it fixes itself or not now i'll have to get some kind of code reader on it see if we can at least figure out what the code is yeah it's just funny that we got total two totally different stories the last time this happened a couple thousand miles ago and then today yeah oh well you learn something new every day i know that is true now we know according to google maps we've got about an hour and a half to go might be a little bit longer give or take because we got to go a little slower but we only have 89 miles left well it's about an hour and a half at 55 miles an hour almost exactly okay let's play would you rather pass the time okay first question would you rather be on the show naked and afraid that we like to watch and you can either be in a hot desert like this or you'd be somewhere really cold where it gets really really cold at night think like alaska or northern canada i'd rather be in the heat yeah i'd rather be in me why because i think when it gets that cold i that just i don't know it just sounds really miserable yeah especially when you're naked exactly there's no way to really get warm although lots of times when they get afraid when they're in the cold they get a bear skin so maybe it's not so bad a bear skin you'd still be pretty cold yeah i mean it'd be hard to survive out here though without a lot of water or food sores are you and i on it together uh yes then i'll go with the cold really body heat all right good answer there it is after driving 5 000 miles you can finally see the valley of palm springs we made it looks just as nice as i remember looks very deserty right now but man is that a sight for sore eyes after that long journey it always does look deserty as you pull in and then once you get inside you realize it's an oasis you got to get over it's telling you it really is an oasis in the desert that's for sure doesn't look like it right now but once we pull in it totally is so after driving almost clear across i-10 we started in florida in tallahassee on i-10 and then drove all the way west to palm springs on i-10 we are finally getting off the highway and boy does it feel good we are about 10 minutes away now axel's up and excited i think he can start to smell it i think he can recognize it yet smells the desert and the palm trees probably that's right something must smell a little bit familiar to him since he got up to see we're almost there bud 10 minutes axel decided he wanted to sit my lap in the front seat the rest of the drive he always does this anytime he gets excited so he must know we're somewhere fun are you excited buddy starting to see the line of palm trees now i'm really getting excited now it's starting to look like a proper oasis starting to look like palm springs are you excited yet getting there getting there now we're two miles away that's chris's excited face yes i'm excited he'll be so excited the second he sees that corvette i forgot about it right i didn't forget axel got a little excited to smell out the window we're here buddy we're pulling in man oh my gosh look at how pretty it looks with all the flowers they just planted those look nice every time we pull in here it's like pulling into a four seasons resort it's like springtime in the desert do you smell it buddy you smell that we're home okay you want to just pull up here and we'll unhook yeah yeah okay chris just took the way around to get our coach onto our lot i'm just now walking up but i have to run inside and grab the jeep keys because if you've been following our videos for a while you might know that we actually had to file a lemon law claim on our new jeep grand cherokee that we had bought like two years ago and we filed it about a year ago and we're still waiting for the lemon law case to get resolved so the jeep which is currently right behind me has been sitting here under this car cover for the past six or seven months ever since we've been gone and yeah it's just been sitting here so we got to get it out of the way until we can figure out all the lemon law stuff with stellantis so i'm gonna go inside grab the keys and try to get this thing uncovered and moved real quick well after 5 000 miles we finally made it and it feels good to be here it feels so good to finally be home i honestly still can't believe how far we drove on this trip from northern michigan down the east coast of florida and then all the way across to california it's about three quarters of the way around the united states we drove quite a lot so it's been a couple days since we've been back here at our rv lot in southern california we got the rv unpacked from all the stuff that we were hauling from michigan we had to unpack our casita get things set up i don't know why but in our mind we were kind of thinking it would take us like a couple hours but in reality it took us a couple days it always takes longer than we think that is true it does but it definitely feels good to be home and it feels good to be settled so we are looking forward to spending the winter here in the next five six ish months in paradise last year we did a full in-depth tour of this property after we purchased it but we wanted to give you a quick updated tour of the lot since we made some renovations and changes to it so we're going to walk you through it probably most excited to show off his garage yeah yes i know the garage is already a bit of a mess but yes i'm always excited to show the garage all right let's get to it okay starting in the front of the property so you can see we have this large driveway here which is great we've got plenty of room to park the rv this is a pull-in site we also have a golf cart so we've got parking for that we have enough space for multiple cars which hopefully we're going to be getting rid of the jeep soon but for now it's still parked here and then we also have this nice front yard area with nice landscaping we even have a lemon tree over here which is amazing to be able to pick fresh fruit we're actually having some of our landscaping redone this year last year we had flowers in some of these places and up there but the flowers didn't do really well so we're just going to have more desert landscaping put in here to kind of continue that and keep with the desert theme which i think there's just be so much easier to manage yeah it'll be a lot easier than worrying about watering the flowers constantly there is a one and a half car garage here which is chris's favorite part he'll be showing you guys that later we've got this nice water feature over here this is one of my favorite trees i just think this is such a pretty tree but i have no idea what kind of tree it is i don't either but i think it's even is it a tree or a palm i don't know i don't know either but it's pretty like i said here we had flowers last year but we're going to be doing a bunch more desert landscaping with some all some more like small cacti and things like that this is the front door to our casita so we've got a nice private door here lots of space for the rv we don't have the slides out right now just because chris was trying to get in and out of the bins today to get everything organized so we put that in just to make it easier but the amazing thing is like when we wake up in the morning out this big front window of our class a we just have this gorgeous view here and i mean this is the showstopper like this is why we bought this property it's amazing so the property came with this pool and hot tub it came with some outdoor furniture we ended up replacing quite a bit of the outdoor furniture just to get some stuff that was more our style and more comfortable but i think we replaced everything but two chairs everything but those two we didn't replace anything on the inside though furniture no that's true only with everything that is true it came with everything so this was one of the things we got was this seating set here just so comfortable and really nice to be able to sit here and relax on the patio you can see how much axel loves it over here before there was a big table and chairs like a dining table and chairs and we don't have dinner parties very often we're more kind of like relaxed and hang out people so this made a lot more sense for us we actually ended up donating our table to a neighbor then we also got these new chairs for around the fire pit they had this kind of old furniture that wasn't very comfortable and didn't really it wasn't very functional so we got these six chairs to sit around the fire pit at night which is a lot of fun we've had friends over here and just enjoy time out by the fire pit one of the big changes that we made oh sorry and then i also forgot we hung we chris hung an outdoor tv so that way we can sit outside and watch the tv but this was one of the biggest changes we made was to the outdoor kitchen so before this piece right here was actually around the corner here against this wall way back here and then this piece was turned the opposite way so the grill was on this side so anytime you wanted to use the grill you had to come walk around this side to use it and then if you wanted to use the sink it was way over there it made no sense so we originally were going to have it rebuilt and redone we got some quotes and it was going to cost like 50 grand chris and i decided to save some money and do this ourselves so we ended up just moving both these pieces turning this one around moving this one over here it's one of those projects i told chris like we could do in a quick weekend or a quick day took a little bit more than that i really didn't think it was going to take that long but it also made a huge difference because we hardly use the kitchen the way that it was configured before and the way it's configured now we use it five nights a week yeah we do we are hoping to eventually build this out so we want to build a corner here to make this a true l shape we're going to get rid of this bar top on this side since we don't need this and then we'll put in solid surface countertops and redo the stucco around the siding so that's kind of phase two of the renovation which we'll probably do some point this year although i haven't really told chris that yet moving inside the casita come on buddy you want to come inside okay one of my favorite features of this casita is this huge full wall glass sliding door this is so nice because the weather is honestly perfect here to have this door open so we can open it up all the way and it lets in so much natural light we get to soak in this beautiful view from here it's it's just amazing then we have this really big kitchen space and honestly after living in an rv for four years this just feels like we're living in a mansion like this is so amazing to have i think one of my favorite things is having a full size oven again with a four burner range like i've been cooking everything in an air fryer for the past four years so having a regular size oven again is amazing regular size dishwasher another one of my favorite things and then having a very large walk-in pantry as well so we've got like party supplies and extra food and appliances and things in there which is great one of chris's favorite features he was able to get a really nice espresso machine so he makes us delicious coffee every single morning large refrigerator we've got bar top seating over here then in the living area this is pretty nice space because it's not too big it just gives us a little bit of extra space to kind of spread out from the rv so there's this reclining sofa fireplace tv and then we also have this bar area over here which we added our record player that we had from our house in north carolina and we also added our record collection under here so we can easily access all of our records what was the first record you played when we got back the other day my new gift that you got me let's see if i can find it where'd you put it i think it might be on the other side oh let's see if we can find it buddy it was a gift from your dad and it was oh here it is he didn't put it in the right spot came home to this gift sitting on the driveway for me which was pretty amazing who's that who do you think it is the new taylor swift album life of a showgirl that was a really really nice surprise but we really do love just this extra space to kind of spread out during the day and at night and stuff but again this this to us is the real showstopper this is the reason why we bought this property this view out this window just sitting here at night watching the sunset or watching the sunrise in the morning is so amazing sunrise is the best it really is then moving into the extra bedroom that we have so one of the really nice things about having this casita is that we do have a room for guests which is super nice or a room for axel to hang out and relax during the day this is his little perch that he loves california king size bed here i also have a workstation over here so this is just really nice to have a little bit extra room so that way we have a quiet space where we can go work we can shut the doors we can have guests come stay with us it's just a really nice feature to have there's also a full bathroom here which this is one of those things like after living in an rv for so long this just feels so big to us so we've got a big vanity storage cabinet here more vanity space over here with lots of cabinets and storage space a massive shower or at least what feels massive to us this shower it is massive actually it is big it actually is a pretty pretty good size shower honestly but this is really great because we have consistent water pressure we added a whole house water softener last year i should say chris added it so that's been a really nice feature to have and then back here in the closet space we have a huge closet as well this is something that's been nice because since we've been living in an rv for four years we haven't had any room to have additional clothes so this gives us a space where we can keep extra clothes and things that we didn't necessarily want to take in the rv with us but we didn't want to get rid of either so this is just like extra coats and you know dresses and things that we don't wear every day so we just have extra space for this dresses that we don't wear since that we don't wear exactly something you want to tell us okay let's show the garage next i'll let you take charge and you can show us the garage your favorite space sure so this is the garage and it's got one big attraction right in the middle it's actually nice it's about a car and a half garage so we got room for to uh the golf cart when i make room tools and all the workbench and garbage and then it's got room for the corvette to be parked and for me to get access all the way around it and this used to look more like a car than it does currently it looks like a car a couple days ago it did it's a little covered up it's already been torn apart we had to get parts ordered i mean it's important that's right got to get it done got to get it done oh let's see your organized toolbox and then that's a nice thing we got room to actually have tools that are organized so you say we there too these aren't my tools they're not you own half of them i do it's very neatly organized it's neatly it has to be actually what i found is i would love to have a bigger shop but the smaller shop makes me kind of keep it a little bit cleaner so there are pros and cons to both i'd still rather have a bigger shop and then uh we also have just a lot of storage laundry uh it's really acts it's easy to access the laundry and get to everything storage for whatever we want to store there's a lot of car parts in there right now but there could be other things in there this is definitely the part that chris is most excited about and where he spends most of his time these days that's right all right well hopefully you guys enjoyed the updated tour of our rv lot like we mentioned earlier we're definitely a little bit tired after the 5,000 mile journey but we are really happy to be here we're excited just to get settled again kick up our feet relax hang out with some of our friends here and just enjoy being in paradise for the winter yeah i mean it was a it was a long but a really fun journey yeah i i loved every minute of it hated every minute of it at the same time but no i didn't hate it actually was a lot of fun but i'm glad that we're here and i'm glad that we're going to be able to relax for a couple of hours maybe yeah a couple of days couple days couple days i'll give you we got to see a lot of great places along a route we got to reconnect with a lot of people and family members so it was honestly such a great trip the rv did really really well all things considered one little check engine light i'll take it considering all the other problems we've had in the past so really happy about that so what's next for us we are going to spend the next couple weeks relaxing here spend the holidays kind of enjoying time with friends and family we've got a big thanksgiving planned here with the community members and then for christmas chris's sons are going to be flying out which will be really fun to see them for the holidays but then come january we've got quite a we'll start traveling and we've got quite a few trips planned so i'm gonna let chris relax and work on his car for a couple weeks before i get us back on the road again thank you so much you're welcome sorry i have trouble sitting bill all i need is a couple of weeks you know it's funny we got here and the very next morning chris was like i miss driving the rv so it's true it's a funny thing i think we said this in one of the other videos but you get kind of i get
