This video is one of three in a row I'm doing to show you three different magnificent stallions.
This one is an awesome Frisian that you'll learn more about, and the other two videos are for two
Andalusian stallions. One is a Palomino, which is rare for Andalusians, and the other video will
show you an impressively big Andalusian that's a very light gray, and he also looks amazing.
But for now, we are going to hear and see more about this Frisian horse from his trainer.
Brittany, tell us about this big guy. This is probably my favorite one, Dave, being a Frisian.
I love Frisian horses, and this is Lord. He is a six-year-old Frisian stallion. He just received
his star status at the Arizona Frisian Curing this past fall. So the top 25% of Frisians are star,
so it's a pretty amazing award that he accomplished recently. And Lord has been a great horse. I've
riding him about a year and a half now, and I show him and ride him frequently, and he's just
an amazing boy. Okay, Brittany, and is Lord for sale? He is for sale at $47,700. Right, $47,700,
and he is one awesome horse, and he'd make a great horse for somebody. So that is Lord.
There you heard that Lord is for sale, but I didn't actually make this video as a sales video,
but rather just to show you a horse that embodies the essence of this channel about
magnificent horses. But if you do happen to be interested in purchasing him, I'll put my email
in the description, and you can email me about it, and I can put you in touch with the owner.
We will watch a bit more of Lord being put through his paces under saddle, and be sure to stick
around a little longer, and you can watch him running free. As you saw at the beginning of
this video, he really motors along when he's turned free for what we call a liberty run.

various classes at horse shows, but occasionally I make it out to local barns where you can see
show horses like this one up close and personal, and also learn a little more about individual
horses that we don't get to know about when watching in the show arena. You can see Brittany
has Lord trained to do some cool dressage moves, and Friesians I think in general look really great
at the dressage events. Right here he really starts strutting his stuff. We'll slow down the action,
and you can see just how great that looks out there. And now she's got him stretched out at
the trot. Friesians are often used to pull carriages, and they do that usually at the trot.
And then here you see him move into the canter. Here we watch that canter in slow motion, and it's
just such a smooth free-flowing canter, isn't it? Here's a close-up look at those giant hooves,
and Friesian horses were used a long time ago to carry knights into battle. These horses' size and
strength made them ideal for that. That's it for watching him under saddle, and now we will watch
him running free in a liberty run. And as soon as they turned him loose, he took off like a bullet.
Most horses need some coaxing to run like this, but he just took off on his own and kept on going.
And we slow it down in slow motion, and you can see how fluid that horse is as he gallops along.
Look at how high he lifts those hooves off the ground. And he was going so fast I could hardly
keep the camera up with him. And now he comes barreling back right toward us. Here I'll pause
the action so you can see how much height he gets as he runs along. Now he's finally running out of
a little steam, and that gives us a great chance to see how he looks at the trot. He doesn't stay
at the trot too long before he takes off galloping once more, and the dirt goes flying. I hope you've
enjoyed watching Lord both under saddle and then here again in his liberty run. And remember,
I have two more amazing stallions to show you from this barn in upcoming videos. I'll put a
thumbnail image here with a link for the next video as soon as it is published. Thanks for
watching, and we'll see you next time with more magnificent horses.
