The IH Residence is a spacious family home located in the cool and refreshing climate of Bandung, Indonesia. Built on a large 5,600 m² site, this house is designed to support many family activities while still preserving the beauty and openness of the natural landscape.

The long and gently sloping site inspired a linear building layout, allowing fresh air to flow naturally through the house. Wide terraces, balconies, and swimming pools surround the home, creating a strong connection between indoor and outdoor living. Large glass façades invite natural light and frame beautiful views of the greenery around the site.

To respond to Bandung’s heavy rainfall and strong sunlight, the house features generous roof eaves extending up to 6 meters. The interior circulation is designed with long ramps and corridors, enhanced by reflecting pools and scenic views, making movement through the house feel calm and immersive.

By working with the natural slope of the land, the IH Residence creates dynamic spaces at different levels while maintaining privacy and comfort. This home is a perfect example of modern architecture that blends functionality, climate response, and nature in harmony.
