The EPIC Family Road Trip: Episode 6 // Week we continued on from Montana and drove through to Washington State where we crossed the border back up into Canada in Vancouver, British Columbia where we shipped the Jeep from Auckland, New Zealand. After reuniting with the Jeep, and hooking it up to the RV we visited with dear friends and inspiration for our journey, David Greer and his wife Carole. It was an honour and a pleasure to catch up, swiping travel stories, and getting tips for future adventures. Next we headed south back into the U.S through Washington and into beautiful Oregon where we met up with family at the coast for a fun weekend together making memories and catching up. We enjoyed a good coastal hike with the family, bonfires, and laughs together. We will now be heading on another exciting adventure out of the country and will be logging back in to share with you all next weeks journey! Last time we talked to you we were in Montana. Since then we've traveled across
Idaho, Washington State and into Vancouver Canada where we picked up our
Jeep. So we went to the port and got the Jeep picked up today. Yesterday we had to
go downtown and talk to customs and get that all done. It went really smooth and
fast and easy. It got flagged for an inspection and that was approved because
obviously it was cleaned well before it got in the crate. And so now we have the
Jeep back in in Canada. Within a few hours we had our Jeep behind the motor
home and we were heading down the interstate to beautiful Oregon. While we were in Vancouver we dropped in at David and Carolee Greer's place.
They're friends of ours that we met early on in our journey. We were at the planning stage
going on a world trip with our family but we hadn't talked to anyone who had
actually done it until we met Dave Greer at a speaking event and he told me about
his journey with his family. They spent two years on a sailboat traveling around
the Mediterranean and I asked him how he felt about it and when I told him what
we were planning on doing I asked him if he thought it was a good idea and he
said absolutely you should do it. That was his advice. He said you'll never regret it and
that's been our experience so far. We do not regret the time we've been together
traveling to different countries as a family. It's been an incredible journey
and we're excited about where the epic family road trip will lead us next. We
are in Oregon right now and the reason we came down here first of all was to
see the gorgeous state but we also have a lot of family here and we had a big
family reunion this weekend which was an incredible time. This weekend for the
family reunion we rented a house and had a really fun time.
During the family reunion a bunch of us went out and did an awesome hike down
the coast called the Cascade Head Trail. The views there were spectacular and I had an
awesome time flying the drone. Make sure you subscribe to our channel and stay
