A Wind Advisory is in effect for Berkshire County and western Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin Counties from 9PM Sunday until 9AM Monday for wind gusts up to 50 mph. Good Sunday evening. Some snow showers and snow squalls will move through early this evening otherwise skies will be partly cloudy overnight and it will become windy.
Good evening. I'm 22 News Storm Team
meteorologist Adam Stanco with your
Sunday evening video forecast. A pretty
bright and mild second half of the
weekend. We saw a good deal of sunshine
out there today. Temperatures made it up
into the 40s. Changes though on the way
as we head through tonight. In fact, we
have a wind advisory in effect for all
of Berkshire County, Western Hampton,
and Western Hampshire, as well as
western Franklin County from 9:00 p.m.
tonight till 9:00 on Monday. Winds are
really going to pick up and we could see
some wind gusts in these areas up around
50 miles per hour. We see some wind
gusts 30 to perhaps as high as 40 mph in
the valley. So here's a look at your 22
News Storm Team forecast focus. So
there's the chance for some evening snow
showers and snow squalls fairly early
this evening. Otherwise skies will
become partly cloudy and it will be a
windy night. Temperatures will be
dropping down into the 20s tomorrow.
Partly sunny, windy and colder.
Strongest winds will be in the morning,
early afternoon, and then the winds will
lighten up and back off during the
afternoon. Colder with high temperatures
tomorrow, upper 30s to right around 40
degrees as we head through the week.
Milder as we head towards the middle of
the week, then colder later in the week,
and we may be dealing with some winintry
weather as well. So, your forecast looks
like this for tonight. Chance for that
evening snow shower, snow squall
becoming windy, partly cloudy. Overnight
lows 22 to 26. For tomorrow, look for a
mixture of sunshine and clouds. It'll be
windy. High temperatures 36 to 40. 22.
New storm team 7-day forecast. Tuesday
is partly sunny. Temperatures warming
back up. 43°. Chance for some rain
showers on Wednesday. 44 degrees. And
then colder on Thursday. Could be a
wintry mix of some rain and snow.
Temperatures in the lower 30s. And that
could continue Thursday night into
Friday morning. Then tapering off as we
head into Friday afternoon becoming
partly sunny and cold. 28 degrees. Looks
dry Saturday, partly sunny, 34. Another
chance for some rain and snow on Sunday
with temperatures in the mid30s. That's
the way it looks from here for now. Your
next video forecast a little bit later
on tonight.
