Hi, I’m a garden lover from Canada. My backyard garden has 7 beds with lots of crops, including:
Heirloom tomatoes: Cherokee Purple , Chocolate Stripes , Brandywine Red
Other vegetables: Sun Gold tomato , cucumber , carrot, eggplant , luffa , chayotes , chili pepper , bell pepper 🫑, black sticky corn , winter melon , red potato , zucchini
Greens: Ong choy , bok choy , choy sum , amaranth , peas , chives, Crown Daisy, Shanghai Bok Choy, celery
Garlic: Chinese garlic , Red Russian garlic
Beans: Cranberry bean 🫘, Romano 🫘, Baibulao 🫘, Thai stringless bean 🫘, Rattlesnake 🫘, Purple bush bean 🫘, Yidianhong 🫘
Fruits: Strawberries , Figs
I grow 99% of my vegetables from seeds, starting indoors every March. Since summers in Canada are short, starting seedlings indoors and gradually moving them outside helps me get an earlier and more abundant harvest.
Through this channel, I hope to share my gardening journey with fellow garden lovers and inspire anyone who enjoys growing their own food. Let’s celebrate the joy of gardening together!
