8 Day Dog Sledding Tour in East Greenland starting from the small town of Tasiilaq. Tour organised by Arctic Dreams. This is a once in a lifetime, must-do experience. Travelling through fjords, glaciers in 2 metres deep snow crossing through small settlements and villages, gives it a thrill like no other. Strong Greenlandic sled dogs pull us up and down the mountains of snow. Interacting with the mushers , their way of life in the settlements and their families, understanding the importance of Dog Sledding as a crucial means of transport in winter where snowmobiles fail.
