Tea Gown 1895 | Part 2| Pattern
We are continuing with the Tea Gown pattern.
Today we are doing pieces 5-7 out of 10.
The pattern is from the diamond garment cutter book and does have some seams included.
The patterns are one-size but you can enlargen them by dividing your bust by the patterns bust. The adult patterns have a 30" bust.
Ex 36"/30"=1.2
You then enlarge the width (the horisontal point) by 1.2
You can also lengthen by dividing your back and back of the pattern (if you need it)
Please note; The pattern comes with a seam allowance at the side line and the shoulder line. You need to add your own allowance at the armhole, neckline, and hem.
If you enlargen the pattern the seam allowance will also get wider.
ex. Once I enlargened my pattern the ¾" allowance became a ⅞".
(I recommend making a mock up waist up)
