So yes, here's the thing.
We are definitely at all time highs in the stock market,
in the gold market, in the silver market,
pretty much everywhere.
So it makes sense that I keep getting asked,
will the stock market keep going up in 2026?
Where will Bitcoin go?
Will house prices come down soon?
Gold and silver keep going up.
Will they continue to go up in 2026
or should I wait for the dip?
Basically, did I miss the opportunity?
Will there still be a chance for me
to be able to get in and profit in 2026?
It all comes down to this.
In 2026, the Fed is definitely
going to be making money cheaper.
And when they've made money cheaper in the past,
that has made markets go up big time.
Any appreciating assets like stocks, ETFs,
gold, silver, real estate, all that,
yes, these assets are expensive and high price,
but this just might be the beginning.
Up until just recently, we've been in a process
called QT or quantitative tightening,
which just is a central bank policy
to shrink its balance sheet by selling assets
like government bonds or letting them mature
without reinvesting, which reduces money supply,
decreases liquidity, and aims to cool
an overheating economy and curb inflation
by raising interest rates.
So basically, after COVID, we were experiencing
some pretty heavy inflation.
And so the only way to bring that down
was for the Fed to raise the rates.
So when Powell started increasing the rates super quickly
in 2022 and 2023, that's why they did that.
QT is a contractionary tool used to drain excess cash
from the financial system, making borrowing more expensive
and slowing down spending and investment.
Well, just recently, the Fed announced
that we're actually gonna end QT,
and not only that, we're heading into the opposite of QT,
which is QE or quantitative easing, so pay attention.
My name's Nolan Govea, my students call me Professor G,
and I made this channel to make investing simplified.
Remember that all investing carries risks,
so do your own research.
This is not financial advice,
and I'm not a financial advisor.
Okay, so you definitely need to understand this QE thing.
So I'm gonna break it all down very, very simply,
very, very quickly, then I'm gonna let you know
what to expect in the market very soon
and how I'm investing in 2026.
You're not gonna wanna miss this.
So all of this centers around one big thing,
and it's called liquidity.
Let me explain.
First off, here's what QE is and how it works.
The central bank, like the Federal Reserve,
buys financial assets, mostly bonds,
from banks and investors.
When it buys those assets,
it credits the seller's bank accounts
with newly created money, expanding the monetary base.
The result here is that banks and markets
suddenly have more cash, hence liquidity.
And now increased liquidity decreases the rates.
When the Fed buys bonds,
it pushes bond prices up and yields down.
Lower yields mean it's cheaper to borrow across the economy.
Short-term liquidity increases
because banks have more reserves,
and long-term borrowing costs fall
because quantitative easing depresses yields.
More liquidity means cheaper money,
which just means that this encourages
spending and investment.
So liquidity supports the financial markets.
QE also raises liquidity in asset markets,
meaning traders can buy and sell more easily,
volatility often drops, and valuations typically rise
because discount rates fall.
The translation here is that financial markets
just become more liquid.
This supports the prices of stocks,
bonds, and even real estate.
Greater liquidity is supposed to encourage banks
to lend more, make companies invest and hire,
and boost consumer spending.
All of that sounded very positive, and it very much can be.
But there is a big issue that's gonna result
because of all of this, though.
Crazy hyperinflation.
I believe this will be the biggest catastrophic issue
that we're gonna have to deal with
probably in the year 2030 to 2035.
The wealth gap is gonna get wider and wider.
The rich will become extremely rich,
the poor will become extremely poor,
and that's going to become an issue.
This QE stuff is basically money printing.
And the Fed has just started this money printer up again,
and it's not a one-time event.
They're planning to print and infuse billions
every single month.
The whole point, and one of the big reasons
why our administration actually wants this to happen
is because what this does is it actually weakens the dollar.
We want a strong dollar overall and long-term,
and especially compared to other currencies.
But for now, a weaker dollar does actually help
some of our bigger issues that we're facing.
A weaker dollar helps manage large debt loads
and supports growth overall, like I mentioned earlier
in the first part of this video.
We have a huge national debt that just keeps growing.
The interest alone on that debt is almost impossible to pay,
so by bringing down the Fed rate and weakening the dollar,
it'll also bring down the interest rate there,
and we can pay that off much easier.
Now, something you definitely do need to understand
and know it's gonna help you in your investing
is that precious metals actually do very well
during easing cycles, and that makes sense, right?
Basically, what's happening is the dollar
is actually just inflated.
It's getting weaker, making the purchasing power lower.
That means that it takes more dollars
to buy an ounce of gold or silver.
Gold or silver isn't necessarily actually more valuable.
It just means our dollar is weaker.
Either way, though, that price of the precious metal
will definitely go up.
I believe the same thing is gonna happen
in the stock market and also in the real estate market.
Assets in general will increase as the dollar decreases.
Now, just because the dollar is decreasing,
that's gonna make the assets seem higher in price,
but even more, with the Fed rate dropping,
it's gonna make it so that there's more buyers
in the housing market.
Right now, so many people are priced out of buying a home
because the mortgage rates are so high.
They can't even fathom paying that mortgage.
And even for some people
that could actually afford the mortgage,
they're just waiting right now on the sideline anyway
because they know they can get a better rate
if they just wait a couple more months.
So it's keeping all these buyers out of the market
but ready to pounce as soon as we have a low enough rate.
And from our economics class,
when there are more buyers than supply, what happens?
Demand higher than supply means prices go up.
So for a bit, it will be smart to buy real estate,
but very quickly, prices will go up to meet that demand.
Same thing's gonna be happening in the stock market
and for very solid ETFs.
Asset prices are gonna rise sharply
over the next five years or so.
And those who hold most of their net worth
in appreciating assets rather than in cash
are gonna be light years ahead of everybody else.
Wake up, people.
Today is the first day of the rest of your lives.
This is such a gift right now.
This could change the trajectory of your life
if you plan this out well.
So how to invest in 2026.
I'm gonna be doing exactly what I highlighted in this video,
which is stacking appreciating assets like crazy.
This year and next year, I believe will be massive gifts
before things get out of hand.
In investing, you wanna buy things before they go up,
not after they've gone up.
So I can understand why a lot of people are apprehensive
and not really jumping into the market right now,
thinking we're at all-time highs.
So this is a scary time to get invested.
The S&P 500 has been going crazy up
for the past three years.
The NASDAQ 100 has been going crazy high
for the past three years.
Gold and silver just had one of the most massive years
ever in history.
We are definitely at high prices and it is scary.
But knowing everything that I just taught you
about this new quantitative easing cycle
that's just starting,
I believe we are at the start of what could happen.
In 2030, we're gonna look back at 2026
and wish we bought more.
Now, what to buy?
Should I buy gold?
Let's talk.
Gold's normal appreciation per year
is nothing like what we just saw in 2025.
Look at this for the past 12 or so years.
You can see some solid years like 2019 and 2020,
but then also some heavy negative years like 2013 and 2021.
Most of the time,
it's closer to about an average of 8.69%,
not including this year in 2025.
So in 2024 and 2025, obviously,
these are years way, way higher than average.
So it'd be pretty crazy to think we'll see another one
of those years in the near future.
So temper expectations.
Knowing that we do have QE starting
and we have Fed rates coming down
and gold being very popular, especially online recently,
we could still see a bit of a run in 2026.
More importantly, though,
an overall average for gold and appreciation of over 8%
is actually a pretty good average.
I believe gold is a great long-term asset
to hold in any portfolio.
And I do believe that inflation
is gonna keep eating at our dollar.
And so I think that gold will go up basically
because inflation is gonna weaken the dollar so much.
So gold and silver still are great buys,
especially for long-term,
but make sure and have that long-term investing mindset.
Don't expect what we saw in 2025 as far as return in 2026,
or I think you're gonna be let down.
Strong, solid, broad ETFs
like one that tracks the S&P 500
or tracks the NASDAQ 100
or tracks the entire U.S. stock market
are also very heavy buys to me in 2026.
Businesses should grow
and the cream should rise to the top at these ETFs,
so anybody invested in those type of ETFs will benefit.
Like I said before,
I do understand that the market does seem overpriced
and seems like a dip should happen,
but hear me out and listen well.
A dip is not guaranteed,
even if it feels like it should be.
The number one reason
why some of my clients still have to work
way past their retirement age
is because they thought a dip was coming in like 2018,
and then they waited and waited,
and now it's 2026 and prices are insane.
Through all my studies and my MBA and my doctoral program,
the data was very clear.
Buy and hold by dollar-cost averaging consistently
into a solid, broad-based ETF year in and year out,
no matter the price, and that is the secret.
That's exactly what I'll be doing,
and I'll be going heavy in 2026,
even though it seems like we're at all-time highs.
I'll be very much targeting some more real estate,
especially as those rates come down,
but very heavy into my ETF investing
and sprinkling in some individual stocks,
especially if the dip comes and it does wipe out the price.
