Great Motorcycle Community in Latvia - Trip Update

Hello to everyone. I think it is time to update my trip, where I am exactly, how it's going. And I'm so happy to show you this place. It is in Riga actually, in one of the neighborhoods of Riga. And as I said, I'm so happy to show you this place because the owner of this place, Rob, is just a fantastic person. I spent a few days here on my way to Magadan, and now I'll spend another two, three days here with him in his place. And yesterday we rode around, we saw many, many interesting places. In common, my experience around Riga is wonderful. When I arrived here three months ago, we went around the whole town. He showed me everything. Then we spent two nights here. Now on the way back, he showed me all the surroundings around the area. And actually he lives in fantastic place. If I only walk 300 meters that direction, I go straight onto the beach on Baltic Sea. And I've done it, and I'm going to do it again now today. If I walk like 500 meters in that direction, I'll go to a big lake. So it is fantastic spot. And he built it from nothing, from scratches actually, with his own hands and his friends. They've got like a small community, like a motorcycle, not only motorcycle community, they have a small fighting club. And in this club, many of the guys also ride motorcycle. So they've got the same interest. They've got like canoes and they do rafting and stuff like that. It's all people with the same interest. So they build this place to be like a place where they can sit and drink together and talk together and do some wonderful stuff. And as I said, I'm more than happy to show it to you. Let me start from outside. So it was actually like a garage, two garages, one on top of another. And when they started, they've got nothing, nothing. All of this was with only the concrete beams and just one wall. So they start building something without any walls. And they did it just excellent. Let me show you around now. So this is the spot. It's so well decorated. I'm impressed from everything. Let's start here from the holder. See, horseshoes, so you can hang your clothes here. Fridge, kitchen, all well designed, all well thoughtful, how it should be. Everything is so, so nice. I like everything, man. Everything is made with the idea to save space. See how it is? To save space, to have everything nearby. So tea, coffee, everything, fridge. This is the sofa where we usually stay and have some conversations. And I like the design of this. Look at the light, this big lock with the lights integrated in. And to save space, he hangs the canoe over there. And this is the part of the way he put some of the icons. By the way, this icon and another one, very small, were given to me in the local church when we went there just to say some praise for the trip. A lady came, monk, not monk, what is the nun, sorry, nun. And she gave me this icon and another one just for a good wish of my trip. Anyway, let me continue. This is the heater with big stone on the top. When it's heated, it expands the temperature and the fan to spread and all decorations. And this corner is really nice. I really like this. It's exactly like in the bike post, a lot of different pictures representing the idea of the place as well. And what I like, it has a bar here so you can just stretch your body. And the design of the stairs is just wonderful. It has number one here, so you have to start with the right leg and then you can go easily to the top. And I love everything. I love this bar, again made from wood that he found here in the local forest. So comfortable. See, man, it's just like super looks. And I really like this green carpet over there. Fantastic. And all of this represents their lives and what they do all the time, what they love. It's motorcycles, rafting, enjoying the life. It's another one room here where you can spend the night. Sofa, beautiful decorations. Of course, fantastic. And this is alloy, so you can treat the wounds if you have. And as I said, all of this built from nothing, from scratches with their own hands. Now I'm going to finish this video, take my stuff and go into the beach, as I said, 300 meters away. I'm going to spend a couple of hours there, get some sunlight. After that, I will walk around. And in the afternoon, when Rob finishes his work, we'll go and continue exploring the area. And tomorrow I will move direction west, where I'll be part of this motorcycle meeting, Outdoor Outscout, that I told you a few days ago. I'll be there from 15th to 17th of September.
