🚨 FOLLOW FOR COCO UPDATES 🚨

This dog survived 5 YEARS living along the I-5 Freeway at the Firebaugh, California – Panoche Rd exit… and he was dying when we found him.

We started on a Friday —
and saved him on Thursday, January 1st.

✨ What a Happy New Year for Coco… and for us. ✨

Coco is a SENIOR dog, estimated 6–8 years old.
His teeth are completely filed down from years of extreme stress and survival.

Large areas of his fur are missing from severe flea infestation and flea-related allergies, leaving his skin painful and vulnerable.

He was starving.
Malnourished.
Deteriorating fast.

At 31½ hours, we finally saw him — and failed.
We regrouped. New plan. Backup plans.

Final night:
I patrolled on foot.
My husband started the BBQ with bacon.
The moment the BBQ started — COCO CAME OUT.
I stayed back.
Watched the camera.
Held my breath.
HE WENT IN.
I screamed with joy.
After 5 years… COCO WAS FINALLY SAFE.
He slept 25½ hours straight.
He ate. He drank.
The next morning — he wagged his tail.
At the vet, Coco was anemic with low electrolytes.
He received fluids and medication.
Now he’s healing. Still resting. Loved.
