Kings Library at the British Museum
BLOOMSBURY
The King’s Library, now renamed as The Enlightenment Gallery, was built for the 65,000-volume book collection of King George III. The collection was presented to the public by his son, George IV, in 1823. This magnificent gallery is my favourite part of the British Museum.
