This Christmas, Lorenzo and I travelled just one hour from our home in Vicopisano, Tuscany, to experience a magical Christmas event unlike anything we’ve ever witnessed before.

We spent 2 nights in a small fishing village on the Ligurian coast, wandering through narrow lanes, soaking up the atmosphere, and watching the village transform as locals prepared for a truly special evening.

This unique celebration is organised by local community groups and volunteers, and the sense of pride, tradition, and togetherness is felt everywhere you go.
