My name is Sam, and this is another Drag Race. Let's roll!
To some, drag racing three-wheel SUVs sounds insane, but we do it because we can.
Third place, we got the 2023 Toyota Sequoia with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine hybrid.
This thing makes 437 horsepower and it's equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
And in second place, we have the 2023 GMC Yukon Denali Platinum.
And this one uses a 6.2-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine and it makes 420 brake horsepower.
And of course, it uses a 10-speed automatic transmission.
And the winner of this race, it is the Ford Expedition with a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo EcoBoost engine
that makes 440 brake horsepower and it uses a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Now, the insane part about this thing over here is that this is not even the standard Expedition.
It is the Max, which means it's slightly heavier, and yet it won.
We still need to find out how they compare on a road race, and that's what we're going to do next.
Let's roll!
Okay, we finished the road race. Third place, shockingly, the Expedition.
I kind of figured that this wouldn't do that great because the transmission didn't kick in really fast.
Now, move on to the side over here. Second place, we have the GMC Yukon Denali.
That was pretty interesting. It did pretty well. Naturally aspirated V8.
I love this thing. Sounds amazing. Did really well, even from a dig, even from a roll.
Now, the shocking part was this. The Sequoia took the road race because this thing didn't do that great from a dig.
This is interesting, and here's why. I think the transmission and that hybrid motor as well kicked in at the right time,
and it really took off on a roll. But from a dig, this thing doesn't have the best start.
Don't forget, the Expedition might not have the best start out of the three,
but it does well on a long drive because you got that torque kicking in all the way through, and it took from a dig.
Anyhow, that was it for today. Thanks for watching. Don't forget to subscribe and like. Cheers.
