Panda Er Shun Has Baby Boys! Congrats!!

Great News! Mama Er Shun gave birth to two male cubs on July 22 at the Chongqing Zoo in China. Her cubs weighed 132 grams and 91 grams at birth. They’re in good health. Back in March, 14-year-old Er Shun naturally mated with Qing Qing at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda. This is the second time that she has had twins. Her first twin cubs, Jia Panpan and Jia Yueyue were born at the Toronto Zoo on October 13, 2015 through artificial insemination. Er Shun and Da Mao returned to China in 2020. She was born on August 10, 2007 at the Chongping Zoo. Her mother was Yalaoer (Ya Ya) and her father was Ling Ling. Thank you for watching!!
