FULL MATCH _ Miwa Harimoto vs Mima Ito _ Astana Asian Table Tennis Championships

Hi everyone, Zoe here from Table Tennis Global and we are going to review one of the best matches in recent times. This is our final episode for 2025 and we are going to see you again next year. Well, if you are seeking for the latest matches, the last tournament this year is the China Table Tennis Super League which concluded few days ago. You can still watch those episodes on our channel. For our final episode, this is the battle of the two of the most watched athlete on our channel. We have Miwa Harimoto of Japan against Mima Ito of, yeah, you know her, both of them are Japanese. Mima Ito, known for her prowess in the use of short pips, once known as the slayer of Chinese top players few years ago, battles the young star of Japan, Miwa Harimoto. This is an epic match for sure. And who are you rooting for? Passing down the torch as the next Chinese slayer, Mima Ito fell short on the early game but managed to gain points to close the scores. But Miwa was just too experienced on her gameplay. They are teammates and they have been practicing together for a long time. The all-around attacker, Miwa Harimoto, manages to simply play her usual gameplay against the master of short pips, Mima Ito. Second game, Ito to serve, love ball, 1-3, 5-4, 5-6, 6-0. Miwa Harimoto is just adept to the play style of Mima Ito. Miwa just keeps on putting more top spin on the short pips punches of Mima Ito. We are now at 2-0 and Mima Ito needs to do something to gain score against the young Japanese. Is this the last match or can Mima Ito adjust her attacks and ball placements? 3-1, 3-2, 3-all, 4-5, 5-6, 9-7. From 9-5 to 9-8 with Mima Ito trailing. Miwa just knew that Mima Ito has the hot hands trailing from behind. With Mima Ito putting her best show, Miwa knows she needs to calm the hands of Mima Ito. But will this be enough to put a stop on the raging flat hits of Mima? 9-8. The timeout of Miwa Harimoto did not calm the hot hands of Mima Ito. Mima Ito managed to come back from that 4-point deficit a while ago. It went into a decider but the focus and determination of Mima Ito to get the score against Mima Harimoto is just too high. Anyway, these two are just showing the best of Japanese table tennis right now and I am enjoying this show. What do you think of their performance so far? It was just superb. They both won for showing this fantastic match. A big congratulations to Miwa Ito and Mima Harimoto. I don't know anymore. Their names are interchangeable but they both won our hearts. This is our last episode this year and we will see you again this January. May you all have a great time with your loved ones this holidays. Zoe here from Table Tennis Global signing off for now. Have a happy new year everyone and bye-bye for now!
