Decorating for Winter After Christmas ❄️ Cozy Winter Decor to Beat the Christmas Blues

Hello everybody welcome back to my channel. I'm so excited to have you here today. Today's video I'm very sad to say it's time to take the Christmas down but we're going to transform this house for winter. It's something that I like to do every year just kind of like get rid of all the Christmassy stuff but leave the lights and like the winter decoration like just like the bare tree and stuff like that. I usually leave it like this for like a week or two it just kind of helps with like that after Christmas blues like the sadness that you get because it's all so beautiful. So we're going to take it down today. We're also going to be organizing the Christmas decorations. That is the key point today. I have tons of storage bins I just got from Target and we are going to like detailed get this organized because my Christmas decor is kind of all over the place. So we're going to be doing that today. We're going to work on the living room and the dining room and then next week we're going to work on the kitchen. I hope you guys enjoy today's video. I hope you get all the motivation you need after Christmas to just take down organize and transform your house after Christmas whatever that may be for you. Some people just like a blank space and that's totally fine. Me I need something to kind of get me through the week or two where I'm kind of in my Christmas blue season. I cannot truly believe that it's over but anyways we're going to go make a cup of coffee and we're going to get right into today's video. I got four of these bright room storage bins. These are only the 56 quart but I figured these would be good for like separating everything so like I can fill this with like living room ornaments maybe and stockings and then this can be like my village one. I got a bunch of these little bitty storage boxes because these are going to be good for storing stuff in a new house. So I thought one of these boxes would be really good for all of my bows like all the red bows and the brown bows. So I think I'm going to do that for one of these little boxes just to kind of keep up with those and they don't get like crushed in the big box with all the ornaments. I feel like that was the perfect size box for all of those ornaments. So that's every ornament off the tree. Now I'm going to try to label which I mean I can see that's why I like the clear bin because you can kind of see it. So I will know like what that is but now I'm going to get another bin to do the stockings and like the mantle stuff and things like that. All right since this box still has plenty of room left I'm going to put some stuff from the dining room in it and what I'm going to do is just write a little note where I can see that says mantle nativity dining room and entryway table. All right I have this that's been holding my candlesticks and like this stuff that can't melt so I can keep it inside. I found some more candlesticks. We'll just keep all these together. So around this table I think I'm just going to do a little tree and like house village for now.
