Good Friday evening. Snow will continue to fall and will be heaviest this evening. It will become lighter and more scattered after midnight. The higher snow accumulation amounts will be in Berkshire County and western Hampden County with the lesser amounts falling in areas to the north and east. The snow will end between around 5 and 7 AM Saturday morning.
Hello, I'm 22 News Storm Team
meteorologist Adam Stmco with your
overnight video forecast. Winter storm
warning remains in effect for all of
Bergkshire County and western Hampton
County. That's where we expect most of
the snow to fall as we head through
tonight into early tomorrow morning.
Winter weather advisory in effect for
central and eastern Hampton County, all
of Hampshire and all of Franklin County.
We do expect accumulating snow, but it
will be a little bit less than what we
see in the Birkers and western Hampton
County. So, snow becomes lighter
overnight and gradually tapers off
tomorrow morning and ends between about
5 and 7:00 tomorrow morning. Then
becoming partly sunny tomorrow
afternoon, looks for the most part dry
on Sunday. Sunshine, some clouds working
in during the afternoon. Temperatures
will be in the 30s. Sunday night though,
we'll be tracking the chance for some
rain and freezing rain. So, your
forecast looks like this for the rest of
tonight. Cloudy with snow. Overnight
lows 14 to 20. And again, that snow
starts to taper off tomorrow morning and
then we'll end during the morning hours
becoming partly sunny in the afternoon.
High temperatures 28 to 32. 22 News
Storm Team 7-day forecast. And during
the daylight, we're dry on Sunday, sun
in the morning, clouds in the afternoon
in the mid-30s. It's Sunday night that
we're going to be tracking the chance
for some rain and freezing rain. Changes
over to plain rain on Monday. It's mild
and breezy, 45°. Colder on Tuesday,
partly sunny, breezy, 28. Sunshine and
clouds Wednesday, breezy, 32 degrees.
For New Year's Eve, it looks cold, dry,
16 degrees as we head through the
overnight hours. And then on Thursday,
from New Year's Day, it's looking cold.
So, a cold start to the new year.
Thursday, partly sunny, 26, sunny and
clouds. Friday, temperatures only in the
lower 20s. That's the way it looks from
here for now. Your next forecast,
Saturday morning at 6 a.m. with 22 News
Storm Team meteorologist Alexa Biano.
