Tetris and Rubik's Cube Combine in New Puzzle Game

Two of the most successful names in games - Rubik’s Cube and Tetris - are coming together for the first time.

Their creators, Ernő Rubik and Alexey Pajitnov, have unveiled a new physical puzzle that combines the mechanics of the iconic cube with the shapes of Tetris.

The new Rubik’s Tetris Cube keeps the classic, twisting mechanics of the original 3x3 cube. Instead of lining up solid colours, however, players must reveal all six of Tetris’s classic Tetrimino shapes.

Rubik’s Tetris Cube is set to go on sale worldwide in Spring 2026. It is rated for ages eight and up.
