China's economy continues to decline, with high unemployment rates. Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics of the CCP on December 15 showed that in November, the national urban survey unemployment rate was 5.1%, the same as the previous month; the unemployment rate for local household registration labor force was 5.3%, and for migrant household registration labor force was 4.7%, with the unemployment rate for migrant agricultural household registration labor force at 4.4%. However, the public's perception is vastly different, believing the real unemployment rate to be several times higher than the official statistics.
