Mother of Last Deceased Hostage to Travel With Netanyahu to US

Christians from around the world are joining celebrations in Bethlehem for the first Christmas festivities since the Israel–Hamas war began in October 2023. However, the body of one deceased Israeli hostage, police officer Ran Gvili, still remains in the Gaza Strip, and his mother, Talik Gvili, continues to call for the release of his remains. She has said she will accompany Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on a trip to the United States later this month to meet U.S. President Donald Trump.
