🍂 Welcome back, friends! Today I’m decorating my kitchen for FALL, and I can’t wait to bring in all the cozy touches—warm tones, pumpkins, layered textures, and simple styling that makes the heart of the home feel extra inviting.
In this video, I’ll take you step by step through my fall kitchen decorating process—from countertops and open shelves to cozy fall coffee bar styling. I hope this inspires you with fresh and easy ideas for your own fall home decor!
Hello friends! Welcome to my channel or welcome back. I am so excited to share my second fall
decorate with me of the season and today we're going to be styling my kitchen. I've got some
open shelves that we're going to be styling, a little coffee bar area. I also have lots of fun
pumpkin and fall themed dishes that I'm going to be displaying out on my shelves.
We're going to light candles and get it super cozy in here. So I'm excited to have you all here. I
hope you enjoy today's video. If you do, make sure to subscribe and let's go ahead and get started.
But before I start decorating, I wanted to tell you guys about a candle class that I went to
a few weeks ago. This is like the kickoff to fall. My sister-in-law, my mom, my grandma,
aunts, we all went to a candle workshop from my favorite candle place, Pulliam Creek Farms. You
guys have ordered her candles and love them as well, but I wanted to share the fall scents that
I came up with. When you get to her candle workshop, she has all kinds of scents to choose from.
You can mix them together, create any kind of custom scent that you would like, and then you
get to pour your own candles, heat the wax, add the fragrance, and these are the candles that I
created. I have a few different ones and then she gave me the most beautiful candle I've ever seen.
I'm going to share that one at the end, but I've been using Angie's Candles for a couple years now
and absolutely love them. They are so strong, they burn clean, they are a mix of soy and coconut wax,
and they have cotton wicks. So this one is a double wick and I love this amber glass jar.
This first one is called Sunday Brunch and you can see it says created by Kalen at Pulliam Creek
Farms Candle Workshop and you can name them whatever you would like. So this one was actually
called Sunday Brunch and I thought it was just... it is so cozy. It smells like pancakes baking on a
Sunday morning. Oh, it smells so good and it has like a caramely smell, so I feel like this will be good
for fall and just like in the kitchen and having that baked goods smell. The next one that I made,
I actually mixed a couple different scents together. So this one is called Pumpkin Spice Latte
and I think the little label is so cute. She whips these up so fast. We're able to pick up our candles
the next morning. Her lids are also burned with her logo, which is really neat. This one is a mix of
a coffee house fragrance and a pumpkin crunch cake. I mixed the two together. It smells so good.
This is going to smell like I've got a pumpkin spice latte at all times in our kitchen. So yummy.
This is her smaller candle. So she has this two wick size and she has another jar. I probably
have one somewhere. Okay, I found a Christmas candle leftover from last year, but this one is
White Birch and you can see this is the jar that they typically come in. So if you order from her
website, most of the jars will look like this. They have a cute little wood lid and it's still a
double wick. I'm not sure if she has the amber glass jars on her website, but if she does,
I will link them. But in this single wick size, this is just like a normal mason jar size.
This one I labeled White Oak Farmhouse and it just has a very cozy scent. I think this one was
called White Oak and something else. I'll try to link this exact scent down below. And then you guys
know that I love the home scent. It's like a creme brulee cozy vanilla smell. It smells wonderful
burning. She had this beautiful candle poured into this glass that she found at an estate sale.
This is stunning, you guys. This is a work of art. So here is the glass. I couldn't believe that she
had this there. It is absolutely beautiful. So sometimes she will pour candles into different
vessels other than just her jars, which is so fun. So this one is a double wick candle and then you
can use this as the lid. So sweet of her. When you want to do a candle shop, you can bring in any
vessel like that and make your own candle in it. So it's pretty neat. Again, I will link Angie's
website down below because I know you guys have been asking about her fall candles and which scents
I like for those of you that have ordered in the past. So I'll leave my favorites down below in the
description box. If you do order from Angie, let her know that I sent you. She's always so appreciative
and she gets them out as soon as she can. So thank you guys for supporting her always. She is so sweet
and kind and she makes the best candles. All right, now let's get to decorating. First corner I'm
tackling today is our coffee bar baking area. I keep my espresso machine on our countertops over here
by my KitchenAid mixer and I went ahead and put up some leaves. I just have three stems and I put
command hooks on the front of my cabinets and then I left some more everyday decor up on my shelves.
I love these leaves. They're from Hobby Lobby a few years ago. They don't carry them anymore and
I'm so sad because these are the perfect shade of brown. I love the dimension that they have in them
so I really wish that they carried them still. They also had it in a faux tree
so it's a bummer that they don't have them but I just think they're a really pretty brown color.
I love decorating with crocks so I have a few different types of crocks. I have the jug
and some cookbooks in more autumn colors. I have this wooden bowl that is perfect for
fall salads and then I have a little canister and another crock up there at the top. You can
see my command hook from this angle but from the bottom you can't. At least I don't think you can.
I also have this artwork here. This is from Target. It kind of has a glare on it but it's some
apples and they're more of a golden-y color. I think they're really pretty. I also have my rolled
oats over here. I did share a really simple apple crisp recipe that was so good. I have a DIY vase
that I made to look like an Amber Lewis dupe with just different brown paints. I have some wooden
spoons. I have my coffee beans. I just refilled this. I get a big five pound bag from my local
coffee shop and just refill this container. I've got that there and a few candlesticks that I will
use if I'm doing a table setting. Here's our espresso machine. I think this is the third year
that I've had this and I use it almost every day. I love it because it matches our appliances,
our fridge, and our stove. It's been a really good machine. I also have a little canister
and my cinnamon for my coffee that I use every day. So that is the overview of this space.
Now we're going to add some decor. I've got an array of mugs and different fall items that we're
going to use to spruce these shelves up. I did share a haul of all of these items so if you
haven't seen my vintage curated fall decor haul, pause this video and go check that out if you're
for more like specific decor inspo. But a lot of these pieces I found at vintage markets or
antique stores and I love that they give a lot of character. This little soup dish is so cute. It's
shaped as a pumpkin and it has a little ladle that's shaped as a leaf. So I'm going to place
this on our shelves by the coffee grounds and I'm just going to balance everything out and I'll show
you the end result. I use these cups all the time for my iced coffees. I've used them already so
much this season and I love the weight of them. I found these at Hobby Lobby. They're the Anthropology
Duke and I know that Walmart also has a lot of these as well now.
When I decorate my dining room, I'm going to put out these vintage plates but for now I'm just going
to stack them next to my espresso machine. That way whenever we make baked goods, I can just grab
them. I want to really try to use these this season. I know it's easy to just stick something
up on a shelf or in a cabinet and then you forget about it. It's kind of out of sight, out of mind.
So I'm going to try to place these in a place where I will reach for them often.
Little pumpkin mugs are also so cute so I'm going to kind of stagger these on the plates next to the
espresso machine so I have mugs everywhere tucked in all the little corners. I always keep my
KitchenAid mixer in this corner and then I have my flour, sugar, brown sugar, everything just right
here so it flows nicely whenever I'm baking but I'm going to switch out my pumpkin candle for my
new pumpkin spice latte one. Put that together. It's gonna smell so good. I also like to switch
out my cookbooks for the season and I thought this one looked very fall inspired. There's a
lot of good recipes. I actually tried one of her recipes the other day. Maple Bacon Pancakes.
They were delicious. They were so good that I've added them back to the menu for dinners
this week but this is a good one. This is the Quick and Cozy Half-Baked Harvest
cookbook. I found it at HomeGoods and she has a chocolate chip pumpkin muffin recipe.
She also has a chai spice swirl quick bread that looks really good. I was flipping through all of
the recipes and there's a lot that I need to add little tabs to that way we can try them out
this season. I found this quail. I think it's quail. Maybe a pheasant. I found this at Michael's
this year and I thought it was really pretty and unique. Just to add some artwork behind
my stove. There is a little tiny hook here so I'm just going to try to hook this on.
And get it to be even. I think that looks cute. I did decorate my hood vent and my cabinets
with the open glass so let's open those up and take a look at the decor inside.
All right here's an overview of the shelves themselves and how they are styled. So I like
to have the same color palette on either sides of the hood vent but I wanted to add some darker
elements to bring out the cozier fall colors. So I'm going to take you section by section and show
you what I used. First I have these beautiful glasses. They're kind of like an amber glass color.
They are from Hobby Lobby and I have a set of eight of them. That way I can use them for my
table setting. And then I do have a Julia Childs canister that I keep all of my wooden spoons in.
So I just kind of hide this behind the door of this cabinet in a safe spot so it won't get broken.
Then over here I have a wooden pumpkin. I have a little pitcher. I put my maple syrup in this
little pitcher and it keeps it warm. Then I also have my thumbprint coffee mug that is my favorite.
You can see it just has a perfect little spot for your thumb. This was a local pottery find from
Katrina's Clay Ceramics. I think that's what her Instagram is. I'll link it down below in case you
want to check it out. But that is the vignette for the bottom. I have some wooden measuring cups,
a little pumpkin, and then a vase with this pretty kind of like a wheat stem. It's from Michael's.
I also love using copper this time of year so I have a copper colander. Then on the top layer
I have a teapot, two mugs, and another wooden pumpkin. So very cozy. Lots of mugs and useful
items tucked away. Now let's take a look on the other side. I've been collecting these items over
the last several years and I and I do have a few new things as well. So the first new item that I
have is this place setting. This is from Hobby Lobby. I shared it in a haul video a few videos
back when I did my Hobby Lobby shop with me. But these are so beautiful. Again I want to be able to
see them so we'll actually use them this season. I cannot wait to make all the soups, all of the
casseroles. It's gonna be so good. I also have these cups which are more like everyday style
cups and those are just a home goods find. Then I have some brown pottery bowls and a little woven
pumpkin and a little arrangement. I like adding a little bit of foliage inside of a cabinet. I
think it keeps it interesting. And then on the second shelf I have my copper teapot. I also have
a pitcher and a pumpkin. And then these little bowls are so handy for charcuterie boards. They're
from Hearth and Hand. Then on the top I have a mango bowl that I will use for fruit sometimes
or salads. And then I have a few extra mugs. I did put up a new wreath on our hood vent as well.
This one's from Hobby Lobby and I feel like the colors are so beautiful. They're definitely a
little more orange toned which I like. They have a mixture of light and orange and brown in there
and I think that they complement the ones on my shelves really well. So they do have this in a
garland too if you're interested. This tea towel is from Hobby Lobby and I just love it. I think
it's the perfect print. So I've been using this a ton. I'm just going to place it on my oven.
I also switch out my runner for the different seasons and I just brought out my Magnolia Home
runner. This is my fall and Christmas one. The colors are kind of a burgundy color and I just
think it's so pretty for this time of year. I love the richness that it brings. So I have a
matching runner and then I have a smaller one that's in front of my kitchen sink. I always keep
a little caddy next to my stove with our salt and pepper, my little oil sprayer with avocado oil,
and then I have my wooden spoons in this canister. I have another pitcher that's copper and I have
those same picks that I had in the cabinet. These are from Michael's. I love them. I feel like they're
very natural looking. So I'm going to place this here. We're going to create a whole vignette with
my pumpkin cake stand. I love this little canister. It's just a white little pumpkin. I think I'm going
to put my pumpkin spice in here but I need to get a little bit more. I like to keep this one
in my seasoning drawer so I'll just place it next to it. This is my favorite cutting board
at the moment. It's so thick. It has little handles and I found this at Hobby Lobby for,
I think it was $13.99. I think it's so cute and it goes well with my Mackenzie Childs items.
And then the star of the show is the pumpkin cake stand. It's my favorite. Maybe one of my
favorite things in the kitchen because, you know, I'm always making muffins and it's just a pretty
way to display them. I styled my pumpkin drink stand over by my kitchen sink so I have two sets
of shelves over here. This is a little paper mache bowl that I actually made and it was such
a fun DIY. I need to do that again sometime. I would love to make some bigger versions of this
but I use it all the time and it costs pennies to make this. I've got my drink dispenser. I might go
forage some pine cones to put in here. I think that would be cute or maybe some pumpkins as we
get them. I have more of these cups. I have a half-baked harvest cookbook, my little egg holder,
another cutting board. I like to pull those out for charcuterie boards. And then way up top,
I know this is kind of a weird angle, and then I have some fall foliage draped out of this
container. This one is really nice for fresh florals as well. And then I have a wooden bowl.
Then down here I have a bushel of apples. We just got some honey crisp apples from my aunt and
uncle's apple trees and they are delicious. Again, I made an apple crisp with some of them so
that's in another video that I've recently shared. Then I have a grapevine pumpkin. I have a little
jack-o'-lantern filled with some candy corn for my kiddos. I don't actually like candy corn. Let me
know if you guys do. Personally, it is just way too sweet and artificial tasting for me. But I also
keep a little touch lamp over in this corner because I don't have any under mount lighting
over here and it's just a cozy little glow at night. I also keep all of my magnolia table
cookbooks right here. I've got all of her volumes and I do use these quite a bit. It's very bright
coming in our kitchen window but I used some placemats to make some curtains. I just love the
color of these and I love the pattern. I couldn't find any fabric that I loved more than this so I
just pinned them up and I think it works. I think they're so cozy and I love them. It was so easy.
I do want to get some seam glue and like glue it together that way it doesn't move around but I
don't really open and close these a lot this time of year. I did switch out our soaps for a more
fall themed. I got the Mrs. Meyers apple cider. Oh it smells so good. So I've got the hand soap and
dish soap here. My little scrubber brush and then I have some fall foliage. I love how it looks in
front of our curtains. I also keep some foliage above our window in our kitchen and this is from
Etsy. I'll try to get a close-up shot. It's beautiful. It's like a golden yellow orangey
color. So pretty. It comes in stems and faux trees and I love it. I have one garland above our six
foot window. This artwork is beautiful. It's from Hobby Lobby. It's under $15 and I just thought it
would be perfect this time of year with the pear and I have it on a little stand. I also got this
grapevine pumpkin from Hobby Lobby and I'm going to plug it in behind this. How cute. It's going
add such a cozy glow and then I'll try to hide the cord with this picture. I think that's super
cute and simple. I also have another cookbook. My McKenzie Childs colander and just a little fall
simple vignette. I have more of those brown floral plates and then I keep this pumpkin pie dish.
It's perfect for pies but it's also great for other recipes too. You guys know I love our table
and I added a mirror above it and I think it opens up this space really well and then on the table,
I styled a giant candle that I've halfway, over halfway burned through. This burns really fast
but it smells really good and I just have it in a travertine bowl. Then I layered in some leaves
on top of that and then I just have this 80 ounce candle. This is huge you guys, huge and it is
around $30 so you get a lot of bang for your buck but I will say it does burn very, very fast. Then
I have this antique trivet that I just placed this pumpkin on. This one is from Kirkland's. It's one
of their realistic ones and I am so sad because I have looked on their website and I do not see
any of these pumpkins anymore so I don't know what happened to them but I'm sure that other places
have these like really nice realistic looking ones too. I did add a magnolia wreath. I love it. I think
it is so beautiful. It adds a richness to the space and I did add some ribbon to the bottom. I might
get a little bit more ribbon, maybe some darker brown to put with it and make it a little fuller
but I think it's really, really pretty. Here's the other rug so this is a smaller size and that
magnolia home runner and it's just the perfect fall color. I'll try to get a shot of this wall
but usually the lighting is not great with all of the natural light but it's such a cozy area. For
my island centerpiece, I have the same berry stems that I used in my early fall decorate with me.
However, I switched out the vase to this beautiful one. This is from Hobby Lobby and it is massive.
It's a beautiful brown color. It's honestly the perfect shade of brown and it was under $30 so
such a great deal. I can link it down below and I have this large Lazy Susan which is always fun
and then I have another Pulliam Creek candle. This one smells so good. I just have a little cloche
and then this little brass piece that I found at an antique store. Then I have some figs. These are
from Amazon. I love the color of them and I just have them in a little brass bowl that I also found
at the antique store. The only other thing I'm going to switch out is the curtain behind our
pantry door. I had this one for the spring and summer months and now I'm going to switch it out
for a darker fabric. I tried to find a curtain on Amazon but I just couldn't find any that I loved
so I just grabbed some fabric from a fabric store that I went to and we're going to hang like a
darker brown print up. I also want to add some hooks here to hang my aprons. I've been just
throwing my apron into a cabinet or into the pantry but I need to have an official space for
it because we are getting into the baking season which I bake all year round but especially this
time of year. I don't know if you guys have noticed but do you see anything new in our kitchen?
If you have looked and guessed and been around my channel for a while, we did make a piece to
go around our refrigerator to make it a little more built in and not have the black showing.
So when we designed our kitchen, we did not take into consideration that our refrigerator was an
oversized fit or it's an oversized refrigerator so it's deeper than a standard one and it wasn't
flush with our cabinets. So this is a solution for that. It's the only one we could come up with
without like cutting, moving the pipeline behind the refrigerator and pushing it into the pantry.
I didn't really want to do that so we just finished it off by adding a box around it to
make it look a little more built in. Here is the fabric that I'm going to use for the pantry
curtains. I think it's a nice neutral print. I have a lot of plaid going on so I thought this
would kind of switch it up. Now I can use this extra fabric for a craft with my girls. Freeland
is two years old and she has been loving all the crafts this fall season already. Okay so here is
the panel that I'm going to use. I'll just fold the ends and add the little hooks to the top and
then we'll slide it back on the rod. I think it'll be easier to do this out here than it will be
inside of the curtain. So I just keep two little nails on the inside of our door and then I have
this little tension rod and leftover hook rings from our cafe curtains by our kitchen window
and I just hook the little curtains to it and then hang it back up inside of the door.
The good thing is this doesn't really have to be exact so it makes it easy to
hang up. So now you can't see things like my high chairs and vacuums and all the things.
I'll probably get my steamer and just go over this so there there isn't any lines but I have
this dried floral wreath. I'm just gonna place right on here. I have a little nail
that just place it there. It's super cute. Okay after looking at it I think the wreath is
way too small so I'm gonna have to find something else for over here. It is pretty but
it's just not big enough. I have this picture that I think would be so cute on the side of this
cabinet with some hooks for my aprons so I need to find maybe a command strip
because I don't want to ruin our cabinet so I'm going to try to find that to put up here.
Here's an overview of our kitchen all decorated for the fall season. I can't wait to make all of
the yummy fall treats in here. Spend time in here with our family and friends and just really enjoy
the flavors of the season. In a video coming up soon I'll be sharing some fall recipes that I'm
going to be making with my mom and sister-in-law. It's going to be a lot of fun so you don't want
to miss out on that video and if you want to check out my other fall decorate with me's I
have done my living room video as well as lots of shopping and decor hauls and just getting inspired
