Daniel Ricciardo goes AIRBORNE! | Raptor Rally at Lake Havasu Vlog

I've never done this before. I honestly don't know what to expect. It's dog season. I guess I should say raptor season. That's what's important. We have the river tube, which we don't need, but the fireworks. The old black hat Polaris. Do you have leg room, Chris? I'm good, thank you. Just kidding. There's always leg room in the raptor. All right, so we're in Lake Havasu. I don't know how much you can see behind me, but that is the lake. We looked it up. Deepest point's about 92 feet. I think it spans over about 40 miles or so. The whole drive, I was just like... Tonight, we're going to go on a sunset drive. A little trail drive off-road. Put the raptors to use. Put them to work. Probably finish the night with a cold beverage. There's going to be about a thousand raptors tomorrow for the event. So tonight's a more quiet one. I think 50 of us. I've never done this before. I honestly don't know what to expect, but that's normally how I like to do things. As soon as someone gives me a brief, I'm like, I like this price. So I don't know where this car is going to take me tonight, but I'm sure it's going to be beautiful and we're in good hands. This is my good friend. Old black cat. You guys got this? No, no, no, no, no. It's easy. Yeah, just one. It's easy here. I'm terrified. Here we go. It's been a good day. We've just done our little sunset drive. We had some food. We lit some fireworks. It's been a very nice little day one. And we are just finishing off with a little bit more of an off-road excursion this way, I guess. Yep. There we are. Yeah. I thought I was a big Raptor fan, but they've been in it since the beginning before Raptor was what it is today. Even like with me, honestly, it's, there's no feeling of like, dude, that's an F1 driver. It's like, no, he's here enjoying his Raptor just like me. And that's, I don't know. It's, uh, that's very nice. Hey, trick or treat. Oh, trick or treat. Radio. Oh, I was literally going to put my hand in there. I'm real gullible. There you go. I appreciate it. I literally thought the same thing. I thought he was trying to give us candy. Yeah. I was like, Oh wow. Halloween came early. Oh yeah. We got everything here. How are you? I actually didn't just wake up, although I might look like I just woke up. I've been up three hours now. I saw a sun come up over these Lake Havasu lakes and mountains. And I said, boy, cracking bad jingle. It's going to be a hell of a day. Catch you later. Oh, honestly, dude, I don't even know. They've just put us right up with a jump and I'm going to jump my car. And I don't even know how to jump a car. Just hold a wide open. Something like that. Tall cone at the far end. Yep. That's your target. Stay straight. All right. When the nose of the truck gets to the two tall cones, what are you going to do? Off the power. You ready? All righty. Window up. You guys are buckled in. Go. Thanks. Back to camp. Holy. All right. Oh, that's good. Do we get another go? All right. Do we get the wheels off the ground? Yeah. Yeah. We get another go. Yeah. That's fun, though. That's fun. Yeah. We got to go harder. It's dog season. It's dog season, isn't it? The amount of dog seasons these guys are going to get on camera. We can only use that expression once. There's going to be a lot of cutting. So be ready for it. Yep. But just keep looking straight ahead. Lift at the top of the hill. Bahama and secondary. Clear to go. All righty. All righty. Ready? Holy. Oh, my God. Was that good? It was like double what anyone's done. How was that? Well, unfortunately, a little bit of ego overtook me and I wasn't happy with the first one. So we went real big. Like that felt big. That was so fun. I think there's a photo of us like mid-air just like this. It sounded big. Are we jumping in this one? Yeah, we're going to go in this one. I think they got it all rigged up with GoPros and we'll go have some shenanigans. All right. Let's do it. Have you done much off-road stuff at all? Not really. Not really? All right. Nothing extreme. All right. Just smack me or something. All right. If you're like, not too much. I trust you. All right, let's do it. That's the biggest I've jumped on yet. It is so cool that a stock truck can do that, right? Right off the production line. That's what I can't get my head around. Yes. Yeah. It's so cool. They do that for like 30 hours. That we do. That was like two minutes and I'm done. I'm not even driving. You've got to show them what a Raptor R can do, right? So we're going to need a new truck. Terrifying. In a fun way, but I'm scared. Well, it's a nostalgia, you know? Oh, this is a big boy suit. I'm excited. Just like getting in a regular car. Here we go. All right, Daniel, you ready? As ready as I've ever been. Okay. Oh, holy s***. Holy, send it. Yeah, we had to, you know? I think I closed my eyes again. I saw how fast you're going. I'm like, all right. Next stop, the car for Daniel. Dude, nice job though. For a free lap. Don't know what I'm doing. I know what it's like being a passenger when someone's driving your car. So I'm like, I'm just trying not to scare you. I wasn't even going to do the last lap. He's like, do one more. I don't know how. I don't have the endurance for that. Holy s***. So we've had a day out in the dirt. I'm exhausted. Hence why we're finishing the day in the pool. It was pretty awesome though. I jumped my truck. My Raptor R said, ah, we're really flying. And then, uh, I got driven by some pros, some off-roader pros with Lauren and Mitch. I was pretty, I was pretty scared, but it was, uh, it was really fun. Yeah. Hadn't, hadn't done anything like that before. So, and yeah, we finished the day, uh, with, uh, with everyone really from the rally. And I think what the community has built is really awesome. And I think what's made Raptor is the people and days like this. And, um, it's really nice to be a part of that. So yeah, so it's been a really good couple of days out here in Lake Havasu.
