Learning Korean language seems very hard.
depends
You can certainly make it harder for you by diving into expressions or grammar points without having a solid foundation
Or take care of hangul and learning to read korean first so that studying korean becomes very easy
So in this video i'm going to share with you an easy way to study korean alphabet hangul
I don't want you to feel overwhelmed by all the korean alphabet all at once
So consonants in this video and vowels in the next video
and spoiler
You need to memorize five consonants and three vowels to memorize all of korean alphabet hangul. Let's go
There are total 14 basic consonants starting off g sound
Looking like a gun
And this is n sound
Looking like a non
sitting non
And this is d sound looking like a barking dog
And this is between r and l sound looking like a rattlesnake
And this is m sound looking like a male
And this is b sound looking like a bucket
And this is s sound looking like a standing person
It's not
This is
and this is
no sound
But it decides whatever vowel comes next
so
Next up is j sound
And this is ch sound
And this is t sound looking like looking like two barking dogs
And this is k sound
And this is p sound
Imagine part two
And this is h sound
So
These are the 14
basic consonants
Next up is the double consonants of hangul. So first off
Double g sound or double k sound
Like
And this is double d sound
Like tacos
tacos
In spanish in spanish way. I mean taco
And this is b double d and double p sound
like papillon or
pollo
Pollo. Pollo is chicken in spanish
So pollo
Like strong deep thong sounds
So these three imagine spanish spanish way
The pronunciation is close to the spanish
way of like speaking
And this is double s sound
Like sun or stay
And this is double j sound
So you need to remember these five consonants to remember the rest of the consonants plus double consonants
Because they're the ones with extra added lines to these five consonants
I'll show you this is
Adding one stroke to
It becomes
And adding two
adding
two stroke to
one two and this
becomes
lu between r and l and then
mu and
Adding two lines to
Just imagine like adding two lines and mu so it becomes
b sound and then
and then
And then j sound adding one line to
One stroke and
Or adding one stroke to
becomes ch
sound k sound adding one stroke to
So it becomes imagine adding two strokes to
One stroke one stroke is a poo
but it's like more in a
Clean way becomes poo and the last one
adding two strokes
to
becomes
h sound
These are all 14 basic consonants
And then the double consonants you need to double of
Double d and then double b is
Double
s double s
and double
j
So these are double consonants
And these are basic consonants
so
It all started from all these five consonants
add one or two strokes
to
Each consonants to make other consonants and double consonants
and
Consonants must be always used with
vowels together
so here we put
ah
This is ah the vowel ah
So make a little chan to memorize easier
Putting ah here
Okay
