🍪 Candy Cane & Flower Cookies
Ingredients:
• 2 cups flour
• ½ cup powdered sugar
• 100 g butter, room temperature
• 20 g cornstarch
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 pinch of salt
Instructions:
Beat the butter and powdered sugar with a mixer until creamy.
Add the egg and vanilla, then mix on medium speed for about 5 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture.
Gently bring the dough together using a spatula.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven 15 minutes before baking.
Bake:
• 175°C / 350°F
• 15–20 minutes
(Remove from the oven before the cookies start to change color)

Ingredients:
• 150 g butter, room temperature
• 70 g powdered sugar
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
• 1 egg
• 280 g pastry flour
• 20 g cornstarch
Instructions:
Beat the butter and powdered sugar until light and creamy.
Add the vanilla and egg and mix until fully incorporated.
Add flour and cornstarch, then gently bring the dough together by hand.
Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven 15 minutes before baking.
Bake:
• 175°C / 350°F
• 15–20 minutes
(Remove from the oven before any browning.)
