Royal Ballet vs Mariinsky vs Paris Opera Ballet vs NYCB — Sugar Plum Fairies compared

In this video, I compare four Sugar Plum Fairy solos danced by four of the world’s most famous ballet companies:

The Royal Ballet
Mariinsky Ballet
Paris Opera Ballet
New York City Ballet

Same role. Same music. Completely different interpretations.

I break down the stylistic differences, musical choices, coordination, épaulement, port de bras and overall feeling behind each version.

This video isn’t about ranking dancers. It’s about understanding style, intention and why there's never just one ''correct'' way in ballet.
