Welcome to Feel Calm. This is a space to slow down, soften the noise and reconnect with yourself.
Today's meditation is a gentle invitation to release the weight of what you can't control
and rediscover peace in what's still possible. So let's begin. Take a moment to find a comfortable
position. You might be seated or lying down. Let your body settle. Let the surface beneath you
hold your weight. If it feels okay, you can gently close your eyes or simply lower your gaze.
Begin by noticing your breath. There's nothing to change. Just observe it. The inhale and the exhale.
Let your shoulders drop. Soften your jaw. Let the belly be soft. Take a slow breath in through your
nose and release it slowly through your mouth. Notice any tension you're holding in the chest,
the neck, the forehead and allow it to soften just a little. And if your mind is busy, that's okay.
That's what minds do. You don't need to push anything away. Simply notice and gently bring
your attention back to your breath. Inhale and exhale. Just here, just now. Sometimes we find
ourselves holding things that aren't ours to carry. The uncertainty, the pain of the past,
the fear of what might come. Situations we didn't choose or can't change. Just for a moment,
see if there's something you've been carrying. Something you've been trying to control
or fix or figure out. Bring it into awareness gently. No need to judge it. No need to fix it
now. Just acknowledge this is hard and let that be enough. You don't need to have it all figured
out. Now gently ask yourself, what would it feel like to let go even a little? You don't have to
hold it all together. Not right now. Not in this breath. Give yourself permission to put down what's
too heavy. To soften. To release. There's power in letting go. Not giving up. But surrendering.
What isn't yours to control? Let your breath carry it. Inhale. Exhale. Let go. You are safe.
You are supported. You don't have to carry everything. Let the tension in your body melt.
Just a little more with each breath. You may not control what happens, but you can choose
how you meet this moment. You still have your breath. You still have your values. Your heart.
Your courage. Even when life feels uncertain. Your kindness. Your truth. Your presence.
Are still yours. This is your space. This is your power. You can choose to return.
To this breath. This body. This moment. That is enough. Let's gently begin to return.
Take one more slow full breath. Feel the surface beneath you. Notice the weight of your body.
Supported. Wiggle your fingers. Roll your shoulders. And when you're ready, open your eyes.
Bring your attention back to the room. Back to this moment. And know you've just done something
kind for yourself. You are allowed to let go. You are allowed to rest. You are enough.
