Highlights Dimitrij Ovtcharov - Kirill Gerassimenko

A game remained from the tenth matchday Fulda on Thursday evening against the Nordlichter Against the second place boys from Bremen for whom the first half of the season is really going well right now And in Fulda it looks a bit different K O is still not available he has been absent for the entire first half of the season Now Jonathan Groß was also missing so Ruven Filus had to take over We are looking at the match from 0 to 1 but the spectacular game between Dimitr Ovtcharov and Kirill Gerasimenko who already started off with plenty of momentum We know this from Gerasimenko who likes to fall back a bit more So that everything possible can be extracted and he also gets a better start here It's better to come in the first sentence it had a temporary lead of 8 to 4 It goes over 9.5 and then to 9.7 so Ovtcharov comes a bit closer again at the end of the set Yet still these are the first set points for Gerasimenko who had a balanced first half Ovtcharov leads 5 to 3 from the balance before this game He could first defend these two set balls then there was still a third one here He wards it off with a slightly adjusted serve Now there is a fourth set for Gerasimenko similar situation backhand return then directly The attack by Ovtcharov four match balls wasted or from Ovtcharov's perspective denied And then he finally makes the move we'll see it in slow motion now the last one He hits it pretty early and it goes almost inside-out now he's getting his own The first set was won 14 to 12 and it was basically over already The set 4-8 behind four set balls saved but Ovtcharov leads that ca It would naturally change the course of such a game madness what kind of rallies They then opened up about what kind of balls they could react well to Both of them already showed a very high intensity in this game the second period proceeded It is balanced on both sides but it is still visible and Gerasimenko also shows it In response he has had some problems with Ovtcharov's backhand shot here and there There he can then attack directly from time to time and the German player takes his set points here In the second round 10 to 8 two chances to go up 2 to 0 and then it's a Gerasimenko's mistake who is now down 0-2 did not suit him at all It had a good chance in both sentences by the way the Bremers won by a margin of Irwin Bertrand took the lead 3 to 1 against Ruven Filus so Dimitri Ovtcharov who was standing Already under pressure here now had to win from position 2 it's so clearly strong Kirill Gerasimenko anticipates from behind so brilliantly in this passive game that in the end he wants to He makes the mistake of getting back into active play and now the gap is quite large Ovtcharov leads with six points again a such a rally incredible what the two are doing the Is it Ovtcharov's attempt to stop that fails which he wants to let drop briefly perhaps because e also wanted to get out of the rally it was good and important because Gerasimenko came Once again a few points up close in between there was also a timeout for Ovtcharov He naturally wanted to get the thing through here in three sentences and he managed to do so spectacularly Dimitri Ovtcharov won 3-0 but Fulda lost 1-3 to Bremen
