Middleweight Semi-Final from the 5th AFCC held August 23rd, 2025 at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 5th American Full Contact Karate Championship, sponsored by Shinkyokushin Las Vegas, brought together fighters from across the United States, Canada, and Mexico for full-contact karate competition.

This bout marked Claudio Rodriguez’s first knockdown match, drawing Sebastian Bonislawski, one of the most experienced and successful knockdown fighters currently competing in the United States. Rodriguez entered the match as a 1st kyu facing a shodan, and the fight was decided by judges’ decision at the end of the first round. While competitive throughout, Bonislawski’s experience ultimately proved decisive.
