Hi everyone, so today I would like to show you how to think positively during the pandemic. So stay tuned.
I believe that the word is duality. For everything positive, there's a negative. For any
problem, there's a solution. So my goal today in this video is to
help my friends and my family and everyone watching this video to shift their way of thinking
from a place of negative because of the global crisis right now to a place of positive thinking.
So hopefully that will help you to solve any issues or any problems that you are facing right now.
So the most common problems that I see these days is people are losing jobs and everyone's panicked.
So if we keep thinking that we're losing jobs and we don't have any money right now,
so if you keep being worried about it and thinking, I don't have money, I don't have money,
then you're not going to be productive about it, right? So we flip it around and we can ask
ourselves, what are my strengths? What are my gifts? And how can I be creative in making money
that would help us to be more productive and get something going? Because I do think this is a
really good time to reflect on yourself. If you don't already like the job that you did,
this is a perfect time for you to actually look for a solution to finally do something
that you really love to do. Maybe turn a hobby into a job or a way of making money
or just do something else that you feel creative and turn that into an income.
So a lot of people are also facing problems with their families since we are all in the
quarantine, right? And it's not like you get along with your family members every day,
especially with your siblings. So it's a really good time to also reconnect with your family
and say if you don't get along with anyone in your family, maybe it's a time to communicate
and talk to each other because now we have to face each other every single day, right?
I'm kind of lucky that I live alone by myself with my dog so I don't have that problem of
running into roommates or my family every single day. That would drive me so crazy living with my
family and if I have to face them every day. And it's a perfect time to
resolute that relationship like with friends or with families, people that we love but we
don't really get along to. Perhaps open up communications, amend relationships
so that if you come out of this pandemic, you will have more loving and supportive
relationships in your family or your friends and the people around you.
And also a lot of people feel that if they spend so much time alone at home,
if they're facing themselves, there could be a lot of drama, a lot of self-issues.
Because you normally don't spend so much time with yourself and spending time alone with yourself
right now being in quarantine, that can be a lot of problematic as well if you are not comfortable
being alone. So self-reflection is so critical for helping yourself to learn to love yourself,
to be friends with yourself, to be more accepting of yourself because you have to spend
more time with yourself now. So self-reflection is so essential at this time as well to help you
learn how to love yourself a little bit more. Because when you can learn to love yourself,
you can love other people around you better as well. So if there's anything that you don't like
about yourself, why don't you just ask anything that you like about yourself and then focus on
that so that you can have a better relationship with yourself as well. And give yourself a lot
of compliments about what you're good at and what you like on your body or what you
like about what you do. And the last thing is about the communities is we have a lot of
issues that people, since we are all in quarantine and social distancing right now,
people seem to be a little colder than it used to be and they're not that friendly anymore.
One time I went to a grocery store and a woman was yelling at me for staying a little bit too
close to her. I wasn't even mindful of that. I was just actually trying to read a post
on the door and I was not even that close to her but she was screaming and yelling at me.
So anyhow, I feel like this social distancing has made people less friendly and colder but
naturally we're human and we want the human connection, right? So how are we able to flip
that around in positive thinking? Is that how we're able to, why don't we just ask ourselves
right now what can we contribute to help other people that it needs to help people stay calmer
and really not hoarding so much stuff at the grocery store just so we don't
take everything for us and leave stuff for other people that actually need those items.
Because the more you hoard, the lesser supplies it is and it just creates worse and worse problems
for lacking of supplies these days at the grocery store. So yeah, just helping the community and
the neighbor however you can while protecting yourself. You can just call your neighbors,
your friends and ask them what they need and perhaps you can send them something.
So hopefully that will reduce the coldness of social distancing. So that is my idea of how to
flip this negativity of the pandemic, the global crisis to a better side of what we are doing
right now. Because a lot of people are also getting frantic about so many people in the world
are dying. So instead of focusing on people that are getting sick and focusing on people that are
dying, why don't we just focus on the world is actually healing and nature is actually healing.
There's less pollution since we produce less and we don't drive as much anymore. We don't
commute as much anymore. So there's blue sky in Beijing right now. So there's a lot of
positivities that we can also look into and focus on that in our life right now instead of
focusing on the negativity that will bring you down. And also be grateful for everything that
you have. I also have another video about how to be grateful. So hopefully you check that out.
So these are some of my tips for how to stay positive and flip your mindset from a negative
place to a positive place. Hopefully that will increase your mood and your productivity as well.
I hope that's helpful for everyone. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Alright, see you later. Bye!
