Building a Timeless Custom Electric Guitar | Elm, Canary, Flamed Maple + P90s | Full Build

In this video, I take you through the full process of creating a custom semi-hollow set-neck electric guitar that brings together the natural beauty of exotic woods and fine handcrafted details.

This build features a carefully selected combination of woods — an elm body with maple and canary neck, elm top and back, and a stunning flamed maple fretboard, all accented with flamed maple binding and subtle maple accents to create natural contrast and highlight the guitar’s elegant lines.

Throughout the build, I use a variety of techniques to bring out the best in these materials, from precise carving and binding work, to applying a finish that really makes the colors and grain come alive.

To give this guitar its voice, I’ve installed a set of classic Bareknuckle P90 pickups for that warm, punchy rock tone, paired with a comfortable 24.6” scale length for easy playability.
