Dear diary, as we all grow a little older, time matures us and our thoughts about what we want
and where to go changes. It's so fascinating how fleeting these moments come and go and how
noticeable the changes become when one is present with oneself and one's environment along the way.
And yet, this change, even if insignificant, makes one rediscover oneself. And these are
the little details that evolve us slowly but surely. This time, my trip to Sydney
was one of adjusting to new schedules, resetting new priorities and adapting to new changes.
Looking back in hindsight, all of these shifts came by naturally and there were times when I
wondered if I was ready for it or not because I was balancing it all during the motion of things.
Now that I think about it however, it seems like one can never truly and absolutely be ready for
anything because time and the opportunity catches up to you and then it becomes the problem of
whether you are prepared to make the next step in the movement or whether you decide to let it
fly past. Either way, it becomes a choice. A choice to go onwards or a choice to remain.
This, I believe, is a lesson from life to be able to handle anything where you are.
