I Uploaded 859 Videos and Here's What I Discovered

So, I've uploaded and published over 859 videos to YouTube. And here's the truth most people don't want to hear. Is it actually worth starting YouTube today? Well, the answer is no to most people. Wait, what? Every guru tells you to start right now. And they're wrong for most people. Well, kind of. See, if you do it the wrong way, you'll fail. And 99% of people do it the wrong way. They waste months, even years. They burn out. They give up. They quit. And it's all because nobody told them the truth. But I'm about to change that. Here's why most people fail. And here's what you can do based on my knowledge uploading over 850 videos to succeed. Now, if you appreciate me making this type of content, let me know by gently tapping that like button. And let's jump into it right now. Okay, so the first lesson is the wrong reason people start. Look, if you want to be famous on YouTube, quit right now. I'm serious. You're basically trying to compete with Mr. Beast. That guy has milliondoll production budgets and every single video costs more than your house. You're stacking the deck against yourself on purpose. And that's not smart. That's actually really dumb. And here's what I recommend instead. Educate people. It's easier. And you don't need expensive equipment. You don't need a team of hundreds of people. And you don't need Hollywood level production quality and cameras. You just need knowledge to share. So, let me give you an example of this. Alak Pandi. He's from a small village in India, a small village that nobody's heard of. And he created a channel called Physics Walla. And his production value, an old phone in his basement, plus a whiteboard and bad lighting. That's it. No fancy lights, no microphones, no fancy camera, no thousand lenses, no $10,000 sets. He literally just recorded himself teaching physics, the same physics that he learned in school. And he didn't even edit his videos. I mean, seriously, you can look back at his videos and watch them. They're exceptionally basic. They're just him teaching on a whiteboard in his basement. And sometimes the audio isn't even perfect. And sometimes you can hear cars outside. But the students didn't care about that. They cared about learning physics. and he was really good at teaching it. Then something happened. Alak created an edtech company from his channel. It provides paid and free courses to students in India and millions of students across India use it. And here's the wild part. Because of his YouTube channel, Physics Walla, the guy from a small village in India who started off making these basic videos in his basement is actually richer than Mr. Beast. Think about that for a second. Mr. Beast has a net worth probably about a billion dollars, but it's not really liquid. it would be very difficult for him to actually sell his company. Alak Pandi's company has been valuated at 2.8 billion and then recently $3.7 billion. Plus, his company could actually be sold if he wanted to. So, that's more of a liquid net worth. And it's almost four times more than Mr. Beast. Let that sink in. The teacher who started in his basement in a small village that nobody's heard of in India is now richer than Mr. Beast. The guy with the old phone one. Now, everyone thinks you need hundreds of millions of views and millions of subscribers to make a full-time income on YouTube. And if you're making entertainment content, that's pretty much correct. In fact, there are a lot of influencers out there with millions of subscribers. Many of them I've met myself, who are dead broke, right? Cuz everyone thinks you need to go viral to make money. And I assure you, you don't. You really, really don't. Let me show you what my client Allan did just as an extreme example. Now, Alan Uriar joined my program recently. He followed all of our instructions exactly and he uploaded a video. Now, he's in the Spanish- speaking market and he does educational content on e-commerce. And that video he uploaded only got 20 views initially. Just 20. Not 20,000, not 2 million or 20 million, 20 views total. And it also got nine likes. And most people would call that a failure. Many people would quit right there. But here's the crazy part. He booked a sales appointment from one of those 20 people who viewed his content. And then he closed a 12-month contract worth $2,400 from 20 views. A 20 view video made $2,400. But here's my point. Don't start YouTube to be famous. Start YouTube to make money. Start YouTube to build a business. Start YouTube to help people with their problems. Start YouTube to educate people and make their life better. And by doing that, you start YouTube to change your own life. There's a huge difference here. Fame doesn't pay your bills. Business does. Okay? So the lesson number two that I learned is the algorithm is unpredictable in its short time span but extremely predictable over a long time span. So be strategic. Now what do I mean by this? Well, let me tell you about my 50-year-old brother who I just helped start on YouTube about 3 months ago. His very first video that we uploaded blew up and it got over [clears throat] 750,000 views. And by the time you see this, it might have millions. His very first video. Now, obviously, he got coaching directly from me and so he had a much higher chance of success. But still, is that typical for people who work directly with me? No, it's not. It usually takes them many videos before they have one take off. And on an individual video level or even over a few videos, the algorithm is extremely unpredictable. But when you do the right things over a given period of time, when you consistently upload videos that check all the important boxes that I tell you to check, it is almost impossible for you to not have a video take off because the algorithm can change your life overnight. One random push can give you thousands of subscribers. But the problem is the algorithm is powerful but completely unpredictable. And nobody knows how it really works. Not even YouTube employees can fully understand it. And you can't build a strategy on luck. You can't wait for the algorithm to save you. You need a strategic approach. You need a real plan. And that's what's going to get you results. All right, the third lesson that I learned is to use YouTube as a business tool. So, stop treating YouTube like social media. It's not Instagram, it's not Tik Tok, it's not Facebook. YouTube is a business platform. Now, why is this? Well, YouTube is not just a social media platform. It is partially a social media platform, but it's also a search engine and it's owned by the biggest search engine in the world. So, YouTube is the second biggest search engine in the world. Number one is Google and Google owns YouTube and so they have access to data that none of the other search engine platforms have. So when someone types in how to buy a house on Google, Google sends that information to YouTube and the next time they log into YouTube, they're going to get served a ton of videos on how to buy a house. I I'm not sure if you fully understand the power and the gravity of what I just said there. YouTube can read your mind and people expect to watch long- form content, long- form videos on YouTube and that's why it's perfect for educational content. When people have a problem, they go to Google and they go to YouTube. When people are bored, they go to Instagram or Tik Tok. So, YouTube is a business platform. Every video should serve a specific purpose. It's not just entertainment. It's not just fun. And not that you can't make your content entertaining or fun. You totally can, but it should be educational. It should be for business purposes. So, think of each video almost like a website page. Some videos generate sales, some videos capture leads, some videos build trust, some videos establish authority, some videos nurture relationships. But every video has a job. And YouTube is free marketing that pays you. I've gotten paid over $1.5 million on YouTube to market my products and services. Usually, you have to pay millions of dollars to market your products and services. YouTube pays you to do it, which is absolutely insane, right? Think about it for a second. Facebook charges you to reach people. Instagram charges you for ads. Google charges you per click. YouTube, on the other hand, pays you to market yourself. They literally pay you to promote your business. Where else does that happen? Absolutely nowhere. And my client Colin Brown understands this perfectly. He doesn't chase views. He doesn't care about going viral. And he treats YouTube like a sales machine. And he recently posted a video following our strategy. And it wasn't a random video. It was a strategic video. And it was a video designed to attract buyers. And a viewer watched it, reached out, and he made $6,000 almost immediately. And this was what he posted. He got a $6,000 pay in full from a client today that came from YouTube. Such an easy close. She said, "I'm ready to pay before the call even ended." Right? So, no sales pitch needed, no convincing required, no follow-up calls, no hard selling, no discounts, just a client who was basically begging you to give you their money. That is the power of YouTube. There's no other platform that can do that. Now, before I talk about the next thing, and this is really the next lesson that I want to talk about. I want to say that it used to be that YouTube was a ton of work. Okay? Now, YouTube has had all of these benefits that I talk about forever. It's only gotten better over time. But the truth is, it used to be a ton of work. And many of you watching this may have already tried on YouTube and you found it to be a lot of work. What's happening, guys? in the editing process of this video and I have an opportunity for a select group of people. So these are people who are serious about growing their personal brand on YouTube. So basically we figured out recently how to grow a personal brand and combine all the upsides of a personal brand with the upsides of automation, right? Using AI, using things like this to basically grow your personal brand 10 times faster, which in the past used to take decades to do. And now you can do it significantly faster. Have a good one. >> But lesson four is you need to use AI to leverage YouTube. Now, let me tell you about the old days. When I first started, everything on YouTube took forever. Coming up with topics took days, sometimes weeks. You know, I'd stare at a blank page, and nothing would come. Writing one script sometimes could take a week. I would write, delete, rewrite over and over again. And it was honestly the hardest part. Harder than filming, harder than editing, harder than everything else combined. And now everything has changed. AI completely changed the game when it comes to YouTube. I don't waste weeks stuck anymore. I don't stare at blank pages. With ChatGpt and other AI tools, I brainstormed dozens of ideas instantly. And one of the biggest videos on my channel came from ChatGpt. Nine boring but high-paying remote jobs. I basically just threw some of my other videos in and I'm like, "Hey, what video do you think would do well?" And it spit this one out. And that video is the most watched on my entire channel with millions and millions of views. And Chad GPT gave me the entire concept, the title, the angle, everything. And scripting used to take me weeks. Now, it takes minutes, not hours, literally minutes. But yeah, it writes the full script and then I basically just talk to it to add my own personality, my own stories, etc. And over time, it gets trained better and better to write exactly like I would have written. And it also knows things about my past. It knows my life story. It knows clients I've worked with. It can add all this stuff in completely automatically. Now, do I still do some of this stuff on my own even though AI systems, etc. can do it all for me pretty much automatically? Yeah, because I actually enjoy YouTube. But the whole point is I don't have to. I don't have to do it. I do it because I want to. That's the big difference. And by the way, you can actually create AI avatars. I'll give you an example right here, and you can tell me if you could tell the difference, right? All right. So, this is Shane's AI avatar taking over because Shane is on vacation right now. So, yeah, really good. Now, it took us a long time to figure out how to make these avatars correctly so that they actually, you know, seem somewhat realistic. It talks like you and you don't even need to be on camera, right? You don't need a shower. You don't need to set up lights. You don't need to worry about looking good. Now, there are entire channels that are completely 100% AI generated. An example of one of those channels is The Sleepless Historian. They basically make these super long videos with this uh very attractive voice that just makes you kind of sleepy. And they talk about random different times throughout history. And it's very visual and just kind of paints a picture of what that time period was like. and it makes you fall asleep. That's what it's designed to do is to make you fall asleep. And this channel is absolutely crushing it, making tens of thousands of dollars a month. And it is pretty much 100% AI generated. So, some channels are 100% AI generated. Some channels just use AI to help them make their content better and faster. Most people fall somewhere in between. But either way, you absolutely should be using AI to make your content better, faster, and make more of it. And the fifth lesson I learned is that you don't need to be an expert to do well on YouTube. But if you don't believe me, I mean, it's pretty obvious at this point, but just look at this guy right here, the Danish I'm not even going to explain this. I'm just going to show you a bunch of examples. 1 second water drink, 55 million views, and probably made tens of thousands of dollars from that video. Or this girl, Jana, how to drink water tutorial, 4.3 million views. Or how about How to Basic, how to open a door, 6 million views. And somebody copied How to Basic about 1 year ago, Paul, how to open a door, and he got 239,000 views. So just about everybody thinks like, oh, you have to be some kind of worldrenowned expert. No, you just have to teach people things that you already know how to do. And the secret here is to basically think of the younger version of yourself. What problems did you have when you were younger that you were able to learn how to overcome? Teach other people how to overcome those same problems. It's that simple. Whether it's drinking water, opening a door, or figuring out how to get an entry- level job in it, you can teach other people how to solve problems that you already solved in the past.
