Scotland NC500- Girnigoe Sinclair Castle

This is one of my favorite castles in Scotland - some said it is two castles. At the time of our visit the castle was closed so it was flying only - you need to contact Wick ATC for a permit. Building time seems to have been in the 15th and 17th centuries.

Dies ist einer meiner Lieblingsorte Schottlands. Ob es sich um ein oder zwei Castles handelt, ist oder war umstritten. Leider ist es wegen Erhaltungsarbeiten geschlossen. Also nur per Drohne, wobei man hierfür eine Erlaubnis des Wick Flughafens braucht. Die Anlage(n) soll(en) im 15. und 17. Jahrhundert errichtet worden sein.
