Work around to unlock Metastock Monitor pages & How to share/receive my Metastock templates

Okay, traders. Now, let me just show you how the uh the work around unlocking the monitor pages uh how how that works, right? And you can see up here I've got follow the trail. Now, there's no lock feature on it. Currency, relative strength, US dollar, Swiss, and yen. It was a bunch of different monitor pages that were locked. Now to share those files, right? You can actually come over to the top here, click on the uh three dots on the right, go down and you can say share my files, right? Well, if the pages are unlocked, you can type someone's name in here and um you know, if they're a user of metastas, you can then share the files. That's how it sort of works. But the monitor pages now, how do we work this out? Well, you can sort of see here at the moment I've actually got two uh layouts, right? We we worked out with a workspace, right? It sits up the top here by itself. It's just a page, but you can't share workspace pages. You can share layouts though, right? So what you need to do the workaround if you want to uh unlock those pages is uh quite simply well actually you could come over here just open up a new page and go create new layout or you could come up the top here and just hit new layout there as well right there's a few ways to do this so how we sort of worked out how to get this done say I choose the three panels uh maybe I just need two then what I do is the the lockout pages. You just add them in here. Right? So, if I go to monitor and then excuse me and then open, it'll give me all the monitor pages that I've got. Right? You can see I've got quite a few plus uh plus the meta stock ones as well. So, if I'm looking at these sorts of things, I can go, you know, follow the markets. Um let's try this one here, global financial markets, right? I've got a bunch of different pages because I was trying to work them out. Now, this opens up fine, right? And with the layouts, it feels like you need to have more than one page. So if you just go news monitor, okay, just go search bar and then you know the main news u button is or tag is news one, right? That'll give you all the sort of up to date news. Okay, then we can sort of just drag that across and that's the sort of layout that you're looking for. But you can actually go a step further if you didn't want to see the news, right? just click on say the global financial markets page and drag that across into the um onto the next sort of layout and then you got the both of them together. So you can either choose to have them separate or the same right on the same one. And once you're there right this is a layout now you can come back and hit save as um and then give it a name and then add it to your bookmarks. Right? So once you've saved it, uh, like this page here, I haven't actually saved it as anything. I could come up here to add bookmark, uh, obviously call it what you recognize the page as, and then just hit okay. And then you'll end up with these bookmarks at the top. Makes it very quick and easy to uh, navigate the markets, find out the information you're looking for. Right? So that's how you um, get around or unlocking the monitor pages. Right? Um, it's quick and easy. It's an easy process. Just set up the new layout and go from there. Right? As I just showed you, three panels. Boom. You could go with three panels or two. Just then dig into the monitor page that is locked. Okay? Find that by clicking on it. Hit the open and Bob's your uncle. Fenny's your aunt. Okay. And that's pretty much it. Right. So, that's uh a good workaround. Now, I'll be sharing a um a bunch of these templates with uh everyone that sort of requested them. Now, to find those, you would come up the top here, and you can go into uh the top left corner, metastastock icon, go to my files. We don't want to save that one, but we'll come into the my files. And where you can actually find these is you'll look under the layouts and received, right? If I've sent them to you, forward them from my meta stock to yours your uh profile, you'll find them here, right? And then simp quite simply, you open them up and then um just open them up to your screen. Once you've got those files uh in place, you can then um add the bookmarks where you want them. And don't forget with these bookmarks, you can sort of move them around and and uh wherever you want them to be, right? I usually click on these first four or five. So if you have a look how the pages are set up. Um well get that pen fixed. Uh you would be this is the uh general layout I look at and when I'm looking at the markets the very first of the day I'll open up one the news to follow the trail majors hourly majors daily and usually the economic calendar. And then if I see something interesting, then I'll go in and start digging deeper, whether that's uh on one of the major currencies and I've got a bookmark here uh specifically for, you know, the euro crosses, sterling and all their their crosses and then I can really isolate the best trading opportunities where they are, right? So it's an easy way for you to navigate around the market and um get into those pages, right? So if I click on euro and I could be looking at the euro crosses say on an hourly perspective I might through this process see a euro cross that I I really like the look of technically right and whether I'm getting a signal on that as well and then if I do then say for example I'm looking at um euro CAD right and I go okay this is this is looking really good right euro and dollar CAD are both going up so I could then come into euroad quickly just click on that. Then I get the uh the dual time frame that I I like to see. I like to see what it's doing on the short-term charts and the long-term charts. And then I'm like, okay, I got some news here. I've got a whole bunch of things that we can work with to uh to make a decision on whether to trade or not. So, this is the layout. That's the workaround for the lock monitor pages. And uh I'll be sending those uh these template pages through uh to those clients that have requested them on the discord. Right? You can see here a bunch of traders.
