Hard but Happy Mountain Life: Mom’s Zucchini Pie & Dad’s Stone Well

High in the Carpathian Mountains, near a raging river, a family of six lives a difficult but joyful life.

This morning, mother Marina goes to her garden, picks fresh zucchini and prepares a delicious zucchini pie for the children 🍰. After breakfast, father Vasyl drives his old truck to the river, collects wild stones from which he makes a well using traditional methods 🪨🚛.
While Vasyl works, Marina prepares homemade preserves for the long winter - pickles tomatoes and makes red currant juice 🍅🍷.

By evening, the whole family gathers in the kitchen. With laughter and love, they prepare a hearty meat dinner and enjoy the warmth of being together ❤️🍲
