Without a doubt some of the most interesting and exciting projects are those that fall outside one's wheelhouse, that aren't rote and pose unique challenges from materials, tools and technique. When this marching band drum first appeared the answer was no, but ultimately, when everyone else also said no, I relented and I'm glad I did.
