My sister Carrie is usually the one who finds the estate sales, and as you know
if you've watched my channel long enough, estate sales are my favorite way to
thrift home decor, kitchenware, clothes, any type of items that I want to bring
into my home. Carrie called me early this morning and was headed to an estate sale
and Tara joined and a couple of our kids and well not my kids but Carrie and
Tara's and we went and this was a kind of older settled neighborhood. It's very
nostalgic and very pretty and I always love seeing what the houses look like
inside and I am taking you inside and the prices were a bit steep. Now when we
got to the register to check out they did go down on prices and I wish I would
have known that. Maybe I would have picked up a couple more things but this
day I felt like my brain was a bit scattered so I wasn't really in the mood
to purchase. I don't know if you've ever felt that way you just you're not in the
mood to purchase but you're shopping and that's kind of how I felt today but
I did come away with a really pretty small haul that's perfect for Christmas
very cozy and Carrie and Tara came away with some beautiful finds as well.
I like fiberware better because I like the copper at the bottom. Very cute, very nice.
This is a copper bottom. That's what I meant.
Do you need a pot? I don't think I want it.
I don't need it. I know but I don't think I have one. I'm running out of room.
Oh Carrie look it's a corn. How cute. I love old spoons like this.
What about this plate Carrie?
That's heavy.
They're all so pretty. Look at this.
$8
That's nice.
Those are pretty Carrie. You should get them.
I mean $10
Aren't those cute?
They're so pretty.
I love old spoons and I use them all the time.
Do I want that?
Not for $8 huh?
I'd just rather save my money.
Here's the big platter.
All three of those hanging would be amazing.
Look how cute.
Wallpaper is so cute.
I just see memories right here.
It's just so cozy.
I don't like how there's no window in here.
Do you see all these mixing bowls?
They're beautiful.
Carrie, how about the cream ones?
Get those.
Get those two right there.
See how much they are.
Sorry for Carrie's elbow.
I might want one.
Beautiful.
That one might be pretty.
Here's this one.
I don't like that brown one.
No I don't want it. I have so many mixing bowls.
I love the feel of this.
You do?
No.
I think that's beautiful.
Very very cute.
The green little
serving bowl is cute.
I want you guys to see everything.
Peter Rabbit stuff is cute.
So sweet.
Those are kind of pretty.
Oh! I was saying is there any wooden spoons.
They are literally in front of my eyes.
I buy
all the wooden spoons I can buy
because I feel like
they're
two for four.
So two dollars each which is kind of
expensive but
not really.
It's kind of cute.
That's so cute.
Oh this one's kind of
Oh no it's not. It's fine.
I want two for four.
Okay.
Two for four.
So eight dollars.
I feel like that's Marshall prices
like TJ Maxx.
I'll think about these.
Let's see.
I can't tell if that's
what price that is.
That one's pretty too.
The house is huge.
Oh that's cute.
I mean it's not me
but it's cute.
That's pretty for five hundred.
That's really pretty.
Oh that ottoman
is cute.
Are they not so unique?
They look like green row or something.
Look it's houses.
I'm curious like it's mine.
That is so
You have to let me get it.
I will.
Wait that's not houses.
There's a house.
It's houses.
Oh it is.
That's funny.
Probably a hundred.
This one's pretty this bright green one.
No Tara you seen it first.
Yeah just because I like houses.
It doesn't matter.
This won't go on the end of my bed.
The burgundy is super pretty.
Love the washroom.
Look at the
wallpaper inside you guys.
France the beautiful cookbook.
How pretty.
Wow the washroom
stuff is only 150 each.
Can't set my stuff down or I'll lose it.
Two dollars.
There's nobody in here so hopefully
it won't get taken. Oh it's plastic.
That's why.
Fun little dessert dishes.
What's these little plates back here?
The blue is
I just hope I don't
What is it?
I don't know what it is but
I don't think I like.
How cute.
This is so Duvall.
Very very cute.
Little cute tins.
A glass ice bucket.
I just have to redo it.
That's cute though.
Oh my word.
How cute.
Okay nothing in here.
How cute.
Really nothing though.
We are back and it is a couple days
later because I'm just now getting to film
this haul. I have some
exciting news coming in a couple weeks
and I'm excited to share it with you.
A little bit nervous but
excited nonetheless.
This is my cozy Christmas thrift haul
that I found and
the prices were unbelievable.
I am not a real
huge Christmas person. I mean
I know I never have been.
Thanksgiving is my holiday that
I absolutely love. It's my favorite
holiday of the entire year.
But I do like to add some fun little touches
of reds and
plaids and mainly plaids
and traditional Christmas decor
into my home and my decor but very simply
I found a really
fun Christmas haul. First up
I found these beautiful
I'm going to take this off
because and just hold on I'm going to
have to get some goof off and get the little stickies off
but I have a set
of oh sticky. I have
a set of three Christmas geese
I think you could use them for Christmas geese and tie cute
ribbon around the necks and
you could literally put them in your plants
or wherever you want inside
a basket. I got a set of
three for two
dollars and it was
a dollar or two dollars. It was
crazy crazy inexpensive
and I think with a ribbon tied around
you literally can't go wrong with this. It's absolutely
adorable and I think it's timeless. I love
Christmas geese. Next up is this
beautiful light. I don't
think like Christmas but I love
the green little lighthouse
it's a candle. It
was one dollar. I mean the
lights are like golden so they look like
they're lit up. Just absolutely gorgeous. When I
saw this I was like this is
something I would buy and I would pay ten dollars
for it. I'm going to clean it up and
it is just gorgeous.
I love the little polka dots around the lighthouse
so so cute
one dollar. I still have to take the price
tag off and I thrifted this as well.
This is probably my favorite bind.
I found this
beautiful Joy to the World
ribbon for fifty cents. I have it
upside down probably for you.
It says Joy to the World, you know the Christmas
carol and I think it would be so
cute on that thrifted Christmas wreath
I purchased for two dollars with
some dried oranges, some cranberry and
some cinnamon sticks. Very simple
literally adorable and
for the price it's basically free.
Absolutely love this and you can find
Christmas decor so cheap if you just
thrift it and you don't have to sit here and pay
it tons of money. Now I know sometimes you see
things you want and
I do purchase new. There's nothing wrong with that
but it's kind of fun
just to go thrifting and see what you can
find digging. I got
a set of linen
well I'm not going to say linen actually
they're not linen. I don't know what fabric this is
but they were fifty cents for
four or six
they're napkins
and I just thought how cute
would this be
with some rings on a
placemat with some chargers for Christmas
you can even use them for 4th of July or
Valentine's Day. So I feel like this is
very versatile and for fifty cents
you cannot beat it and I got a nice stack
they're all in nice condition. I'm going to
wash them and dry them
and then I will have red
I'm really into red. There's a Christmas
red dress I'm wanting to order
we'll see but I'm very much so into red
but these are very versatile. Valentine's, 4th of July
and these were fifty cents
I got this cute
little house for fifty cents
and I thought about spray painting
them black or
sanding them down to a raw wood
so you could have them all year long
but I just thought it was super
Christmassy, super quaint and you can
just kind of tuck it in somewhere
and make it look super Christmassy
without being like super overboard
fifty cents, actually I think
I might have got this for twenty-five cents
I found this tablecloth for
one dollar
kind of snagged it with my ring
better be careful. It is a beautiful
Christmas
fruit tablecloth and I love the
shine to it and I'm going to wash this up
and
this is like a perfect staple piece for
your home. Tablecloths are so
expensive and I feel like if
you take the time to
dig through the
linens and things like that you can usually find
stuff like this. I gave my sister Carrie a velvet
blue runner. It was beautiful for a
dollar. I don't know what I was thinking. She has
it now. But this is a beautiful
tablecloth. It is a
let's see is it oval or is it round? It's
oval. I mean it's square I meant
Let's see if this is round
or square
I think it's square. It's square
and one dollar
I'm going to take my ring off
one dollar
for this or two dollars. I cannot
remember but it was one of those prices
to put my ring back on. I'm saving my best
find for last. Oh my word
when I saw it like you know when certain things make your
heart skip a beat like I have to have that
That's what I did when I saw this
last item. I have one more to show you and I'll show
you my most favorite find
I already washed this and it's
absolutely beautiful
It is a 50 cent
perfect condition
blanket for Christmas
but on it is
little tiny bears
with little tiny pine cones and red
hats. It is absolutely
so nostalgic. So perfect just
to lay over your sofa, the arm of your
chair. It was a dollar or
I can't remember the prices but I know
everything was like a dollar or two dollars
Beautiful
blanket. I love this
When I saw it I was like okay
oops
This was something that really stood out
to me and I
thought okay you know that's a staple piece you can
have for forever or
gift it to someone
Okay I have a pot pie in the oven so I have to
hurry. My most favorite find
I found is
this Martha Stewart
Christmas entertaining
decorating and getting cookbook
I mean absolutely
gorgeous. I paid $20 for
this. It was printed
in 1989 so I was 9 years old
and I will flip
through it so you can see
inside as I'm talking to you
but her dress
is gorgeous. It's timeless. Her whole
outfit is something I would wear. I have a black velvet dress
I'm actually going to put a belt around
and just so beautiful
This made my heart skip
a beat. I love it and I'm
going to keep it in my kitchen probably all year long
because it's just cream and green
and that's the colors I'm going for
with some blues. Love this
book. She has wonderful ideas
I mean she has
oh my word she just gave me an idea
haha funny. I thrifted
these little tiny wicker little baskets
and I thought what could you do with those
Just literally got an idea. Put some cinnamon
sticks with a ribbon around it and you have
a cute gift
So cute ideas like
that. Love this book. This is going
to my kitchen. I love
it. So happy I found it
Alright I got to get off here because
my pot pie is cooking and it's literally
almost done. It's probably too brown. I got to get off
and get it out of the oven but this is my
thrifted Christmas haul and I hope you like it
Comment below and let me know what your favorite item is
