It's just it's kind of intoxicating like it's like it's it's kind of subtle So it makes you want to like sniff harder and then it's like then it becomes intoxicating like almost like, you know Smelling gasoline or something like you know, you shouldn't you probably shouldn't smell it. Yeah. Yeah sure I actually don't know. I don't know the consequences of smell we all want to First sniff I got a lot of like apples kind of like Granny Smith like green apples But now I'm getting a little bit more like caramel caramel vanilla spices. I definitely get you on the green apple Yeah, I got a green fruit. Yeah, and maybe even a little bit like of other similar Light but fragrant fruits like peaches or something like that just now like kind of more apricot II Apricot apricot probably depends on where you're from depends on how old you are Yeah, it just smells good like kind of like like a charcuterie board of mostly like fruits Honeys, maybe like a little caramel sauce a soft. That sounds like an amazing charcuterie. I've never had yeah, like I'm picturing like like asking a I to create like this smell as a picture and I'm picturing like apples and peaches and apricots and like soft cheese and honey and Somebody to actually make that for me. Well, it's probably just gonna take this like takes longer. You know what sometimes the best things We'll just let that hang out there take a little longer Cheers You just bump my elbow and ruined my first taste No, I didn't. Oh God That didn't sound good. Well, I just have literally no idea. Oh, I got a lot more fruit on the nose on the palate I'm getting more honeycomb like fresh honey Like that's literally cut off with a knife from the actual like yeah, I agree with you, you know And maybe like peppercorn maybe still a little bit of baking spices, but it tastes a little bit more like hot or peppery I'm really not getting a lot of fruit. It's very leggy. It's pretty Toasty and like full with heat. I would say like maybe like 54% I'm really having a hard time finding any fruit anymore. I think it's there but in like the like Yeah Like you said like maybe an ape or apricot or like a pear or something like that where it's not Pears when I always forget about like we never buy Forget about that fruit. Yeah Sure, I could see that I guess I again I just got so much more of it on the nose and even then it was subtle fruit so I'm just really not finding it on the palate and I would say it's a little bit more singular on the Flavor palette for me like honey and spices. I'm trying to think of like What I'm drinking here Yeah, yeah, that's a good thing to think about Yeah, I mean as much as it sort of tasted a little spiced or peppery like I really don't Think this is a rye. This is not a peated scotch I don't think this is a single malt. It could be a blend Cuz it kind of doesn't really to me like shoot straight down the middle of any of the simple flavor profiles I'm not getting a ton of like leather or oak I'm not getting a lot of like chair. Obviously not getting a lot of charity said I'm not really getting any fruit I'm not getting a ton of caramel anymore even on the palate like not a lot of like buttery like So I I think I'm gonna say a blend Walking your way there. Yeah, here I am If it's finished in anything, maybe a honey cast, but I don't think it's a wine or a sherry or a port cask I already said I think 54% okay, and Not a distillery guess any country guess. No, no country guess. Okay, I'm just gonna say this before you pull it out I would struggle with Single malt unpeated Whiskies because I feel like you don't have a lot of those or if you do I feel like I don't taste a lot of those that you have Challenge accepted. I think yeah, it tasted a little bit like vomit who can forget Not me never forget and it was probably literally like the third whiskey that I what was like the third or fourth Whiskey that we did right or somewhere in the first few I it was it was yeah It was that you know in the infant in the infant stages of in the end of mystery Yes of our channel and that was a you know at our old house and we're nearing the end of our time here Yeah, so you were feeling this down? So it's fifty one point four percent Nika whiskey from the barrel Nika, I believe so whiskey distilling company limited Japan Not to be confused with the main character from Grand Theft Auto. Oh So close so is this a blend because I know a lot of Japanese whiskeys are well So yeah, I actually don't know because uh, you're right I got all this you were literally asking me a question to an like an answer that you didn't have I know I just this is fun Do you think that's fun? I'm gonna sound stupid because there are a lot of blended whiskeys that are pulled from barrels But like this is Nika from the barrel It leads you to believe that this is whiskey that was just pulled straight out of a barrel Obviously doesn't state that anywhere on the bottle It sounds like it is a blend the blended whiskey, which was released in 1985 whoa, I was negative three Development of this expression started with an aim to deliver full flavors and richness of whiskey like from the barrel Yeah, the secret behind its gorgeous flavor Vomit, I mean I do enjoy it now But I some things need time is the unique combination of complex blending Oh, they call it a marriage process just like that. No, so then this might truly be an example of the taster gaining more experience Not the necessarily the liquid in the bottle changing and you guessed a blend. I know that's pretty cool It's a huge blend. It's easy. It's a huge blend a hundred hundred different No wonder I was literally like this doesn't taste like any one specific thing.
